Dear Ms. Couric: Please ask Ms. Palin, "Don''t you think a TRUE PATRIOT with the same level of experience/background as you --would have said honestly when asked to run for vice president:
''I''m flattered, but I know that I need to understand more about the real needs of citizens of the U.S. to be able to lead my country. I will however do whatever I can to help you (McCain) and a more qualified v.p. candidate get elected, and hope that you would consider allowing me to serve in your administration as a means to prepare myself for higher office in the future.''"

If Ms. Couric wants to ask about Ms. Palin''s world leader status:
"I mean Sarah, both Presidents Adams traveled internationally more than candidates Geo. W. Bush and you, so don''t you think it''s time for our leaders to have an experienced world perspective? How would actual travel to other nation''s leaders affect the problems America faces overseas these days?

Katie,

I would ask her about Ahmadinejad''s anti-Semitic speech and being dis-invited from the rally this week.

Whatever you ask, please do both Governor Palin and the American people the courtesy of showing her full answers and not editing them like Gibson did.

Thanks

Just be the investigative reporter that''s in you, girl!
If Gov. Palin starts down a "road-to-ruin", don''t let her off the hook. The job of the press is to expose politicians'' who are trying to BS citizens.

I''d ask Sarah Palin simply, "What is Track''s birthdate?" We know the date of her elopement with Todd, but nowhere on the Internet is Track''s birthdate listed. It''d be interesting to know if her wedding was "shotgun" also.

What do you think of this quote from a famous Reublican about 15 years ago regarding voter suppression:

"Now many of our Christians have what I call the goo-goo syndrome. Good government. They want everybody to vote. I don''t want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people. They never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down." Paul Weyrich

I''d ask her if A) she thinks that reducing teen pregnancy in this country is important. If she thinks it is, I''d like to know what she thinks is the most effective way to do that.

I am completely serious here and not trying to drag her family''s personal life into this election. I just think that as an evengelical Christian with a pregnant teenage daughter, she might have an interesting perspective or might have changed her thinking from a point of view that believes in abstinence-only education to believe that medically accurate, age-appropriate education is more effective (as it has been shown to be).

Excellent idea, Katie! Here''s what I''d be interested in knowing:

1. What is her opinion on being brought into a closely contested presidential race and finding that she must battle both Obama/Biden and the perfidous media?

2. I''d like to know what she thinks Obama''s plan to get "tough on terrorism" as illustrated by his brave "distancing" from unrepentant terrorist/friend-o-Hugo Chavez/university professor (sorry for the redundancy) William Ayers is as strong as the one that might become the "McCain" doctrine.

3. Gotta have a "gotcha" moment so you appear to be tough so consider sneaking a question in there about who was president in 1929. I hear Senator Biden can give you some background on this one. Really stick it to her, Katie!

These are just off the top of my head. I''m sure I''ll think of some more! Please keep up the GOOD WORK and perhaps if you have a chance to interview Senator Obama, you can ask him about "boxers or briefs."

Is the Republican campaign running a huge social experiment to see if the concept of The Big Lie is an effective propaganda tool?
