- Did anyone ask the Senator of the purpose for him to be at the airport? Was he flying in or out at that particular time? If he had no legitimate purpose to be at the airport (thus the airport restroom), it would appear that for him to be at the airport (restroom), he had an agenda.

- jcyk: I think you must be confused as to the meaning of the word "unjustly" because he definately deserves the attention he is getting.
First: Yes, both men are supposed to be role models and both men broke the law. However, while Senator Craig''s charge was lewd conduct, he plead guilty. Vick on the other hand, did his best to get out of it instead of taking responsibility for his actions AND his offense was inhumane and resulted in the pain, suffering, and death of many dogs. If he wanted to "help his friends" as you say, why didn''t he just buy them each a CDO with all of his millions?
You''re crazy if you equate the two people/offenses/results.
And as for Craig, since this is really about him, I don''t care if he is gay. He did something wrong, admitted to it, and is taking responsibility. Everyone has lapses in judgement- I don''t think that should negate his entire career. Don''t forget he was ELECTED, not appointed. If Idaho elects him again, so be it and if the Republicans loose that seat, good for my party. - Reply to this comment

- I remain convinced that heterosexist men so greatly fear being gay (whether they are or aren''t) because they will be treated as they have treated women. The sooner heterosexual women realize this, the sooner they will, as a group, begin to defend equal - not special - rights for ***, and demand better of heterosexual men. Ladies, who wolf whistles at you and objectifies you? who forgets your name while staring at your breasts? who is threatened by you in business and politics? Hint: it''s not the gay men. So why dontcha just go back for a second or third beating, it appears to be what you like....

"I should not have kept this arrest to myself, and should have told my family and friends about it. I wasn''t eager to share this failure, but I should have done so anyway because I''m not gay."
Come on people, you have to understand the basics here:
If you%u2019re a de-evolved, knuckle-crawler male from red-meat territory such as Idaho you can not be GAY because GAY means being soft and weak like a woman. If you are weak like a woman you will not be allowed to form coalitions with your fellow male hunters. If you can not join the other knuckle-crawlers on the hunt for resources to bring back to the clan, you will be excluded and pushed to the other circle of the clan.
That is why men protest too much about not being GAY because it involves exclusion from male coalitions where the good old boy network roams freely to hunt, cheat, lie, and steal from others %u2013 or invade countries to keep their oil off the market to benefit their extraction buddies.

- Suspected is not certain but this guy has been in this type of rumor for over 25 years. Within the next few weeks he will be spilling all of his ghosts from the closet, much like Rep. Foley. The GOP wants to cut him loose now, before he gets caught up in the run up to 08.

- I forgot to mention that I think this a vast conspiracy by the black gay community to frame Senator Craig in retaliation for all the publicity that has been unjustly focused on Michael Vick. What is worse: slamming dogs to the ground or slamming a white, Republican gay man?
Who would you rather be: a famous football player who was only trying to help his friends in a little kennel enterprise of a gay senator who was trying to have a little fun in a public restroom?

- Methinks he doth protest too much. That: "I am not gay. I have never been gay." What does that mean? Does the good senator think that being gay is a sometimes thing? Has he bought into the Christian rhetoric that being gay is a choice, and so, by saying he has never been gay, he''s sayng he has never chosen to be? Or is he referring to all the smoke from his past?
Either way, methinks he should go on home and contemplate his navel for awhile. Maybe once he''s out of public office, he can enjoy life by simply being himself. Methinks himself is gay. - Reply to this comment
