I liked Dr. Suess when I was young. Green Eggs and Ham was my favorite.

I dont even know this weird ass poem that vicfarris decides to comment on. It seems seriously creepy to me. All I have to say is CBS News is nothing without Katie Couric. I love her. She is smart, beautiful and gives inspiration to women. Keep your weird ass poems to your college professor and spare me. You need a life., so does vicfarris for that matter. Creeeeeppppyyy. All I know is Katie reports the news responsibly, you go girl, KATIE. You are the BOMMBB. Ignor that creepy ass poem from petersemkiw and the even CREEPIER comment from vicfarris. They appear to be redneck, backwoods freaky ass creepers., that happened to come upon a computer. Scary and sick at the same time. I feel your pain with these two creepers, eew. Yuck.....

Katie Couric: I am glad you found room not just for the upper-case T.S. Eliot but for the lower-case e.e. cummings. Strange to think they were at Harvard at around the same time. The first became very English and the other was American with a leavening of Europe.

I'm not into poetry, but I like to hear someone resite poetry.

Come live with me and be my Love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
That hills and valleys, dale and field,
And all the craggy mountains yield.

There we will sit upon the rocks
And see the shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers, to whose falls
Melodious birds sing madrigals.

There will I make thee beds of roses
And a thousand fragrant posies,
A cap of flowers, and a kirtle
Embroider'd all with leaves of myrtle.

A gown made of the finest wool
Which from our pretty lambs we pull,
Fair lined slippers for the cold,
With buckles of the purest gold.

A belt of straw and ivy buds,
With coral clasps and amber studs:
And if these pleasures may thee move,
Come live with me and be my Love.

Thy silver dishes for thy meat
As precious as the gods do eat,
Shall on an ivory table be
Prepared each day for thee and me.

The shepherd swains shall dance and sing
For thy delight each May-morning
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then live with me and be my Love.
