$95,000. That's all it takes to buy a U.S. Congressman. You'd think they'd command a higher price than that.

I hope OJ does Murtha in prison - it would be poetic justice considering what Murtha has been doing to the taxpayers.

Party is irrelevant on this one, it's pretty clear that he's on the take----- just like Duke Cunningham (R) was....

"I think the Democrats are proving themselves to be tax and spend in a good economy and borrow and spend in a bad economy."

Murtha isn't "taxing and spending" if he's involved in a dubious enterprise - although you jump at the opportunity to conflate these matters.

Clinton left office with a surplus.

"As for the "Repubs" (your word), they were voted out by their base, not by Democrats."

Barely one-quarter of voters call themselves Republicans - not enough to elect a dog catcher.

"1. Are you indicating that it's OK because a republican did it or;
2. Are you indicating that it was wrong when a Republican did it but it is ok now that a Democrat is doing it?
3. Are you indicating that it was wrong when a Republican did it and it's still wrong but this makes it even now that a Democrat is doing it?"

Don't hurt yourself! Simply put, political corruption is wrong regardless of whatever party the miscreant aligns with. (So why isn't half of the Bush Mafia in the slammer?)

"Leftist governments the world over are famous for inefficiency and waste not to mention the kickbacks and under table money."

And how many of Dumbya and Darth's no-bid contracts did non-"neo-conmen" get?

I despise Murtha but this is an insane hit piece. There are lots of non-profit defense contractors: RAND, Mitre, CNA, IDA, LMI. Murtha's "friends" may not be legit but the article make no such case.

Garbage.

Like everyone else in the Obama hustle this guy is crooked. The genius of the Obama hustle was convincing fools that he was somehow the only alternative to Bush. Imagine that, with 100 million eligible candidates Obama was the only alternative. LMAO

"The Repubs are as bad at overspending as the Dems. The difference is "borrow and spend" versus "tax and spend"
----
Oh I think the Democrats are proving themselves to be tax and spend in a good economy and borrow and spend in a bad economy.

As for the "Repubs" (your word), they were voted out by their base, not by Democrats. If they are going to spend like Democrats, they need to go and we got rid of them. When a real one steps up we'll let you know at the polls.
