Just because your life is perfect doesn't mean it will stay that way.

Precisely why I save and have money in the bank for downturns instead of packing 8 slices of plastic because I can't live within my means like most of you.

Who holds a gun on people to get them to spend other's money?
Posted by formrusmcsgt at 4:13 PM : May 19, 2009=====Probably someone like you.
Our spendable income has depleted by 25% in the past two decades. I'll explain it simply to you and your narrow mind, our income has not grown in proportion to expenses. Our income remains stagnant while jobs are lost and sent overseas. The costs of health insurance, home mortgages, clothes, car insurance, car prices, education, gasoline prices, food prices, pharmaceuticals, hospital care, medical care, dental care, and vision care to name only a few items have more than doubled. There are a few that live beyond their means, but they are few. Most of us have used credit cards for medical services that our insurances do not pay in deductibles and out of pocket expenses. Today the hospitals demand payment on credit card or turn you in to a credit collection agency. You are trying to get better, lost your job or out of work without pay, and you have creditors breathing down your neck. You put it on a credit card. Do you have alternatives like not pay? Your expenses have doubled and your income remains the same. You have a choice to feed your family or fix the car. You fix the car on a credit card. Then the bloodsuckers begin. Why narrow minded people like you refuse to see what is happening is beyond me. Why you self righteously condemn people that are struggling to make ends meet is beyond me. Do you really think all people just go out and buy things they cannot afford? Even if they do, does that give banks the right to suck them dry legally? Do you honestly believe that usury is okay? I suppose you believe that we should all be put in work houses for the rest of our lives. You should just hope you never lose your job or get sick, then you can walk a mile in our moccasins. Just because you can get obscene profit doesn't mean you should. Just because your life is perfect doesn't mean it will stay that way.

I read study recently that found that only 15% of "luxury car" owners had :luxury" incomes.

So, 85% of luxury care drivers really can't afford what they're driving.

It is greed that is driving this nation into poverty.

My first credit cards arrived when I was 19 yearsold. It took me 11 years to pay them off. Since then it has been almost twenty years without ONE Credit Card! I only pay for things that I can afford. I have bought two houses with mortgages but have paid cash, debit card or by check. I sleep very well at night and live within my means. THERE IS NO REASON FOR ANYONE TO HAVE A CREDIT CARD PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! Don't be a sucker.

H.L. Mencken said, "No one ever lost money underestimating the intelligence of the American people." Usury is destructive, not only to the customer, but to the business and the society. It is greed that is driving this nation into poverty.

If people would live within their means, banks couldn't GIVE credit away.

But as it is, they have suckers lining up every day.......

It just goes to show that big business and bankers run the country and not the politicians we have foolishly elected to office.

Nothing about the foolishness of the terminally material who can't live within their means, I see.....

I really have to laugh at the complaints regarding credit.

People want but don't have the money.

So they borrow from others who DO have money rather than save for what they want.

Then they ***** about the person who HAS money making money off of their stupid ***** becasue they want it and they want it now, even though they can't afford it.

Stupid is as stupid does.
