the problem with that statement isn't that it isn't true. afterall if god is the god of the bible then it is replete with examples of people killing people in his name.

the problem is that they aren't actually doing it in the name of the lord.

they are doing it for their own beliefs.

doing something in the name of the lord is actually doing it in him. you are in him.
