- I was going to comment on the article about how corrupt the US has become and the government is run by big money from big corporations as in other fascisr countries.
Then I saw the posts of ignorant, religious wackoism justifying killing in the name of Christianity. Wow you can;t make up this level of scary, violent stupidity. WOW. - Reply to this comment

You, are a complete and utter moron. If you call yourself a "Christian" then you follow the "way" of Christ. If you do then you MUST know the two most important commandments he gave. 1. Love one another 2. Love your neighbor like a brother. It is idiots like you that give Christ following Christians a bad name along with MOST of the televangelists preaching hate messages towards homosexuality. Christ taught us to separate the sin from the man, love the man, hate the sin. I feel sorry for you as you have warped the most basic fundementals into something used for your own... Well, whatever it is. - Reply to this comment

LOL
the problem with that statement isn't that it isn't true. afterall if god is the god of the bible then it is replete with examples of people killing people in his name.
the problem is that they aren't actually doing it in the name of the lord.
they are doing it for their own beliefs.
doing something in the name of the lord is actually doing it in him. you are in him.
ah but how does one actually do that?
huh?
what is the telling difference in doing something in the name of the lord and doing it of yourself?
apostle paul said there was a way that seemeth right unto man (a man of god---not of the world) but leadeth to destruction. and the prophet said that he beheld satan changed into an angel of light?
they are the world!
people who seek after the things of this world are of this world.
jesus said that his kingdom was not of this world and in every example of his dealing with politics he showed that. "as a strager in a strage land"
the world is full of religion - Reply to this comment
- Peter's Principle will tell you that some people, whilst making excellent employees under strict oversight and scrutiny, if left to their own devices will always wreck whatever it is they are entrusted with. It's called immaturity, incompetence and sheer stupidity and greed. It's 'servants' like these and the Madoffs that have brought down capitalism and trust.

- mrs_trepidatious You are scary. The world does not need zealots that have no brain. Go back and pray for yourself. You need it !

- Killing people under the name of God is a terrible thing, no matter how you try to justify it. Bush and Cheney are classic examples of ordinary men doing want they want and trying to justify their immoral actions under the name of God.
