CBS News Investigates: Web Postings Expose Racist Ideals Of Men Accused Of Plotting Killing Spree
- Once again, being proud of your heritage, doesn''t mean demeaning or devalueing others. What are these hate groups going to do when we totally become globalized and were so mixed we don''t know what we are. The whole argument is that it shouldn''t matter. Yeah my ancestors came from Europe, but I''m one mixed mutt, and my color shouldn''t make me any different or better than someone elses. And Barack, is part white, but yet skinheads want to kill him, and denounce him. HOW STUPID, seriously grow the Fudge up!

- Nice recruitment poster CBS and other news outlets. Lets give these guys all the fame they wanted with their stupid pictures. Just like the VA Tech massacres.
It is funny though that they railed againt white people acting black but in the picture where he''s holding the gun at the camera, he''s hold it sideways like the black gangstas made popular. But still, I could do without that bit of irony. - Reply to this comment
- To me, more racist things have came from white individuals and this campaign of 2008. We are not wise if we think that racism is dead. It''s not, and these boys should be punished for every eluding to the idea of harming others because of their race. I think it is not wise of the media to not think the boys were up to something. If it talks and walks like evil, it probably is. Here locally where I live in CO, there was a dear head found in the Obama parking lot of his campaign office. How sick are individuals? I just cannot believe that people can''t see past color and look at policy. Isn''t that what we all should be worried about policy, not color? We''ll I''m proud to say I''m a single mother of a half black child, and I''m white, and voting for Obama, not because of his race, but what I think he can and will do for this country. I''m really displeased with how society is reacting to a potential black man becoming president. It is time we look past color, party lines and look for a better future for the United States. God bless America and Barack Obama, for he is the true maverick! Barack has endured a lot and he is fought to the top! I root for him and wish him much success in the presidency.

- These groups are sick and very ignorant! And I hope more Americans are just as angry that these people would even think they can influence and have impact on our right to choose and elect the next president. These groups are an embarrassment to America and should only be seen as terrorist because they are Anti-American because they have hostility towards Americans..... doesn''t matter what color an American is ... we''re Americans!!!

- These are the children of solid Republicans....we should be so proud. Fascism has cost Americans dearly, yet we still allow it to flourish without challenge. History does, indeed, repeat itself.

- Weird thing is, their comments really can''t be differentiated from the Taliban.

- I have an excellent idea what to do with all the neo-nazis, skinheads, right-wing religious wackos, and members of the KKK.
Throw them all on a military transport with a one way ticket to Afghanistan. All the hate and venom these people have built up inside them needs to be released and what better way to release it than to send them to fight the evil Taliban, Al Qeada, and anybody else the Great Emperor Bush thinks is an "enemy of the state"!
That way, we could bring our regular soldiers who have seen 3,4,5,6 tours of duty back home to spend with their families and try to get their lives back together!
SIG HEIL, WE NEED SOLDIERS WHO HATE EVERYONE!!!, BUSH!!!
sig heil, I SUPPORT THE TROOPS, AND TORTURE TOO!!!, McBush!!!
sig heil, I LIKE FIRING THE M-16!!!, Palin!!! - Reply to this comment
- White people who complain about the racism from minorities towards them in order to attack Obmam are a bunch of whiners and racists themselves. I find very few minorities are racists. They have a lot of compassion and are just like everybody else. This is just blame the victim mentality from a bunch a white supremacists, no matter how you rationalize it. If white people were treated like minorities they would riot. Hypocrites!

- Just the tip of the iceberg. Tennessee is STILL one of the most racist states with over 20 "known" white supremist hate groups, including numerous KKK''s. In the smaller towns/cities hatred and racism are rampant. Maybe this election will change this. I was hoping the Republicans would be less hatefull and stop trying to propagate fear. Not so with McCain/Palin who try to incite followers at their rallys. DISGRACEFUL! My white friends early voted for OBAMA, as I did, but are afraid to say so in public. I AM NOT INTIMIDATED!

- Both of these young men probably have problems dating back to childhood and the family had to know how much hate they harbored. Unfortunatly the way Palin and McCain has been carrying on in there speeches with hate and division it''s no suprise to what happened.
