Just more snipes from the hypocritical Obama suporters... Wasn''''''''t it Obama that charged $30,000 just to eat in the same room with him? Who had an altar built for himself in Denver? And how about the $2,000,000 he plans to spend on a party for himself in Chicago? Who''''''''s the elitist?

Ok you got me interested. Now name a credible source for this.

Response: ''Dinner with Obama'' in Hollywood for the Hollywood Elite only as reported by CBS earlier this year. The altar designed & constructed exclusively for Obama in the style of the Greek Gods at the close of the convention in August. And a report released today by the DNC announcing $2,000,000 will be spent on a party in Chicago in anticipation of Obama''s victory. Since Obama proudly states that HE manages his campaign, then HE also approves these activities.

Why do the Dems have to resort to name calling? Can''t you attack the candidates on responsible issues? From top to bottom, the majority of you Dems(not all) resort to calling the other side vicious names. Can''t you come up with an effective way to criticize?

Don''t give me this *** Palin fans! Don''t make me get that "I''m just a hockey mom Joe Plumber" line shoved down my throat, then turn around and whine when we all LAUGH at Palin spending $150 thousand on designer clothes! I don''t want to hear it.

Palin is a HUGE hypocrite for this. Don''t have the nerve to get mad when we all say it.

I don''t really care about the "clothes thing". But, don''t feel too sorry for Sarah Palin. She is after all the self-proclaimed "Barracuda" ...remember. She''s a big girl. She can handle it.

Obama/Biden ''08!

I couldn''t care less what kind of clothes Palin wears or who paid for them, but for one issue: the hypocrisy. This is the same person running around the Country pontificating how she is one of the Joe-six pack crowd and Obama is an elitist. Most blue collar worker''s annual wages are less than half of what she spent in a month on clothes, and I guarantee that few, if any, shop at Nieman-Markus, or Bloomingdales! See:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27326266/ Keith Olbermann says it better than I...compare especially the image of Palin vs. Obama in the video.

And these two - the vaudeville team - have the laughable gall to call Obama an elitist? Shopping at Saks? Wonder if I could find a big daddy to take me on a shopping trip there for beautiful clothes. And she calls herself an average hockey mom? She owes true hockey moms a massive apology. She can dress herself up in anything she chooses but she cannot overcome her loathesome self.

If the Democrats are so concerned about Palin''s wardrobe, maybe they should look into where Obama is getting all his millions. Now that would be a story I would like to see. But of course, CBS would never investigate a story like that.

Pull out of Iraq?
Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago!

Body count:
In the last six months:
292 killed (murdered) in Chicago ;
221 killed in Iraq .
Chicago.... Who Runs it:
Senators: Barack Obama & *** Durbin
Rep: Jesse Jackson Jr.,
Illinois Gov: Rod Blogojevich,
Illinois House leader Mike Madigan,
Illinois Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike),
Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)

.....our leadership in Illinois .....all Democrats.

Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago ....
Of course, they''re all blaming each other!

Can''t blame Republicans; they''re aren''t any!

State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.
Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look ''em up if you want).
Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois . And he''s gonna ''fix'' Washington politics for us!

Wake Up

I really can not believe how many stories are on the CBS website about how much money Palin as spent on her clothes. The woman has been put in the spot light and has been picked apart repeatly by every news outlet out there. Its a joke that the media is actually reporting on this. Who gives two *****. And what a double standard, why aren''t there records out there for Obama/Biden/McCain??? Men suits are expensive, but I guess that is ok because they are men and they can do what they want.

Well Palin I think you look great and if you want to spend $150K on clothes for you and your family go ahead cause either way you look at it they will rip you apart. If Palin was wearing the same suits over and over again they would bash her for her style. The poor woman can not win with this liberal media.

Palin is a Phariah on the republican party. While she is the flavor of the Moment for McCain she has clearly been a drag on the Nomination and McCain knows it now yet is not big enough to remove her rather tying his Nomination to her all the way down the tubes.

mcCain has shown his Ineptness and judgement when selecting her to ply to the women vote hopeing to cash in on diseffected Hillary Voters...

What a Low pLoy and how stipid for him to do such a thing. It simply shows his poor choice.

Liberman would have been a better choice for Gods sake...

Palin draws many more crowds then McCain which is a dramatic event in itself and shows how poor McCain is actually with the American Public.

I am a republican and Voted yesterday for Obama and have gotten so Many Robo Calls and live calls asking me for mOney and for my Vote and I can not in good conscious Vote for McCain/Palin just not the right choice for America at this time in America

McCain will damage the Republican Party for years to come with his choice and it will cause the republican party to loose seats as well.

just such a stupid and sensless act of dumbness on his part.....

bush brought this upon us all unfortunately and History will not be kind to the bush Family

Clearly the Republicans are more about appearance than substance. Perhaps that''s because Palin has no substance.

$150,000 buys a LOT OF LIPSTICK! Interesting that the GOP thought it was "necessary".

Who''d of thought she was THAT UNACCEPTABLE - even to her OWN PARTY.

UHHH!!!!
Palin is the Governor of Alaska. I''m quite sure she was not dressing like a hockey mom! I lived there for 4 years there is civilization up there.
She could have used her regular clothing or even spent less money on new clothes. spending $18,000.oo a month!!!! that''s some peoples earnings for a whole year. And why buying clothes for the family???? that should be coming out of her own pocket until the presidency is decided. I see a pattern here. The state picking up the tab for her flying her children around and vacations I have a problems with this. What will she do if she ends up in the White House
