- How can Dems be at fault for the economy when the cycle of deregulation started with Reagan(wiki Reagan) which caused the Saving and Loan scandal, costing the Taxpayer 160 billion. The Republican way is to deregulate, why else would Bush push deregulation with the Republican controlled congress(Dems have only had congress for the last 2 of Bush''s 8 year term) which has cost the taxpayer 700 billion and pushing the world economy into the crapper. Republicans have had 5 prez''s to the Dems 2 since 69. Republicans have had the country for 40 plus years and look how they have ruined it.

- John McCain and George W. Bush%u2019s Republican party exists solely for the betterment of corporations and the wealthy (look how they govern!), but they sucker the white lower middle-class into voting against their own economic interests by throwing divisive wedge issues at them that appeal to their basest instincts: racist, homophobic, etc, while hiding behind fake religious piety. When it works, it works, and when it does not the GOP just tries to outright steal elections through bogus voter purges, and voting machine manipulation. The GOP deceptively distracts working-class whites with the southern strategy while at the same time destroying their economic future by governing exclusively for the top 1%.

- No it was the Bush FBI, SEC, the fed, Treasury and other regulators sleeping at the switch and improperly overseeing the existing laws and regulations that were contributors along with unwise regulatory changes.

You make it sound like Obama was in a room filled with bomb making materials, Angela Davis black power posters, and shelves filled with the works of Karl Marx. May I remind you Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate, and he took an oath to protect and defend the United States of America. No one in the Senate is investigating Obama, or challenging his citizenship, including JOHN McCAIN. There are no legitimate challlenges that can possible be made against Senator Barack Obama. Furthermore, he was raised by a white woman and her white parents, his grandparents, in a "white" household, if there is such a thing. He did NOT grow up with a hateful black power agenda, that''s utter nonsense spewed by racists. The Republicans have nothing but racist hate and the fear of white people somehow losing their way of life if Obama is elected. White people are losing their way of life - thanks to REPUBLICAN ECONOMICS !!!! Obama will surround himself with the best brains American can produce, the Democrats will save America. Now that it has comeout that it was the Dems blocking any new regulation and reforms this is now a global economic problem.
