- Now there are budget records uncovered, from Palin''s days as mayor of Wasilla, that have her signature of approval for charging rape victims for rape kits. So she knew this was happening. Otherwise, her only defense is to say that she didn''t read the budget before signing off on it. So she was either a heartless anti-woman mayor or an incompetent mayor depending on her answer.

To me, it''s not the issue. Better yet, what kind of mother uses her daughter in such a public way to make herself look like a victim? Why did she feel she had to expose her daughter''s private life, not to mention her boyfriend''s private life to the public spectrum?
What she did was clever. She threw her daughter out their to the media, and the media of course printed it. When she got the deserved attention in light of her abstinence only policy, she then played victim.
She totally used her daughter. If she had cared, she would have made sure that boyfriend and daughter were already married before anything had been said. - Reply to this comment

- How about the glamourous side of ILLEGAL immigration...the human traffickers, the drugs, the criminal history, the money sent back to families in Mexico that have no intention of moving here. Make no mistake, there is a BIG difference between ILLEGAL immigrants and LEGAL immigrants that want to come here, live, thrive and become Americans, not Mexican nationals that happen to temporarily live here.
