REAL soldiers would not want to have anything to do with a Vice Presidential candidate that violates OPSEC and places the lives of the unit - and even of her own son - in jeopardy by telling al-Qaeda and the rest of the world that a juicy target like her son should arrive in Iraq on 9/11.

What is the major news in the footage having some actors? I for one would not want my son%u2019s funeral taped, it is a private matter. But to instead use actors for such a segment to convey your ideas is a smart, unobtrusive idea. You can not tell me that every scene in an Obama clip is done without a staged scene. But CBS won''t check that because Obama is the media''s favorite child.
What we really need is for all the media to be neutral, non bias in its reporting and give us NEWS not tabloid digging tidbits.

If it''s against DOD regs for servicemembers to appear in uniform, why did they happily show McCain in his uniform? And why do we routinely see them on the news/Comedy Central/Tonight show in uniform all the time?

Republican John McCain used the soldier actors to pull at America''s heart strings, but i fail to see what the footage, fake or not, has to do with any policy or plans for America, anyway!

Does anyone care what McCain plans to do with America?

He''s told us he''ll continue Bush''s economics, but what else does he plan?

Republicans like John McCain think all they have to do is get people feeling patriotic, and they''ll win votes. I have news for you...Obama/Biden and those who support them love this country too. Patriotism is not partisan and partisan is not patriotic.

So how about we have less of this empty and fake film footage, and more substance from McCain''s campaign?

I am a Republican and I know that women and non-whites do not have any place in American politics. I will still vote McCain though, because choosing otherwise would be disasterous. We have been very successful in the last 8 years and I would not want to change that.
