Being a combat veteran,I can tell you a chain is only as strong as it weakest link and from what I have seen America can;t even stand up an agree how to protect our troops. Is it any wonder a Muslim trained black person may be the next president. Our social experts has had 50 good years brain washing the American people,we are now at the point it took Rome almost 2000 years to destroy it''s self,we have done it in less then 300 WOW.But that''s not the topic here,PROTECT OUR TROOP AND BURN ANYBODY LIKE this THAT PUTS THEM IN HARMS WAY.GOD BLESS AMERICA AS SOON AS WE DECIDE WHAT GOD WE WANT TO BLESS US.I AM ALL FOR THE ONE GOD(CHRISTIAN) THAT STARTED THIS COUNTRY.

It seems that Power and privilage bring temptation to many. Most do the right thing but the few make everyone else look very bad indeed.

Most do the right thing? Have you been living in a cave?

The right thing would be to impeach the criminal-in-chief and all his co-conspiritors, but so far only one brave man, Kucinich, has stood up for what is right.

The rest are enablers at the very least, and quite likely as corrupt as the ones we have caught.

Where there''s smoke there''s fire, and our country is burning to the ground while folks like you continue to believe in the inherent goodness of mankind - the only thing inherent with our leaders is greed.

This is the America we live in ... and it''s not just an isolated incident but a way of life.

The system is broken, bought and paid for.

And here we sit, at the mercy (or lack of any) of elected criminals.

Our problem is that those we elect to be our voice are simply bribed into selling our collective will, leaving us no voice at all except to commiserate on pages like this.

We the people have only the power of a mob, and I fear that power is the only recourse we have left.

Could D.C. Bribery Have Cost Troop Lives?

Well, I don''t know- Let''s conduct a formal inquiry, investigate the facts, see where they lead and find this out for ourselves. That''s the "Democratic" and principled thing to do.

Whether its collapsed bridges or defunct mortgage companies or troop deaths, this entire "privatization" movement has taken our country on a very expensive experiment in cronyism gone wild.

This is our "tax cuts" at work.

classic reason for term limits on all elected officials....also, prosecute to the max...no plea deals....and while your at it explain why a politican who had over 100,000 dollars of MARKED money in his freezer from an influence sting is still sitting Congress......white, black, purple, Democrat, Republican....if you are convicted of a crime...do the time....and lots of it.

I am a Republican and would definitely like to know why former Rep. Cunningham and the executives at MZM haven''t been indicted on charges of treason against the United States. Where are all our elected officials? Where is the Atty. Gen. or is he just another Alberto Gonzalez, corrupt as heck!!!!

during wartime, this should be treated as treason.

Dang right on THAT! Hang ''em HIGH!

Funny to see that there are none of the usual Republican apologists here today, hmmm...

But if Cunningham was a Democrat, you''d bet they''d be on here screaming bloody murder. Shows how shallow their patriotism is. Use THAT on them the next time they start trying to flaunt their so-called ''patriotism''.

Want to stop this kind of thing from hapenning in the future? Prosecute Cunningham for murder. That will make other members of Congress think twice.

And while we are at it, we should prosecute Bush and Cheney for the same thing.

American politicians sacrificing American lives or any lives for that matter for their love of money and power. Oh, now that''s a surprise.

Don''t worry America, the hairs on their head are numbered and 50 years of money and power vs. eternity in Hell will seem really dumb some day.

What happened to Cunningham to fall so far?

It is called Greed and Power and it happens when Men or women of Position have the capacity and the ability to gain power and influence and Money and then make the choice to cross the line Once which blurs their reasoning and that of course makes it easier to continue.

It is sad to see but a very real part of Life.

When I lived in Florida One of the States Most influential Senators Bob Sikes ended an Great Carrer by becomming a convicted criminal for his Part in such activities. It seems that Power and privilage bring temptation to many. Most do the right thing but the few make everyone else look very bad indeed.

Americas new national anthem song could easily be STARS AND STRIPES OF CORRUPTION.

Source. http://www.deadkennedys.com/albums_franken.html#10

American creed is greed indeed.

Peace dividend, war profit, its all about inner circle and right connection backroom handshake deal profiteering and bottom lines.

America is no banana republic; but its a well functioning conflict cash republic thriving on fraud and malice ruled by a small, sweetheart deal elected, wealthy and corrupt clique.

Who is earmarked to be next El Presidente?

If US politicians wanted citizen opinion, they will give to us.

Voter irritation is a political complaint cured with cash.

Should you use "Buoy Toy," please remember to leave the gas tank full. Should anyone ask you what you are doing, say that you are taking it in the name of the King...

He says the real shame is it could happen again. Today, there''s nothing to stop members of Congress from making secret, classified earmarks to favored companies.

"Nothing that has changed would preclude this from happening again," he said.

Taxpayers bore the cost, but Egland says the price that soldiers paid was even higher.
What a stinking shame.

I can''t believe how dumb struck stupid we all pretend to be. These thugs should all be put in jail forever, their ill-gotten gains confiscated and given to all injured parties. That goes for anything this administration did and everything they stole.

One more little tidbit. Cunningham has requested a pardon from Bush. Anybody not believe he will get one from Bush?
