To sum it up: Ordinary people who have sexual liaisons are never threatened by the media, or lose their jobs, but Government officials are embarrassed, harassed, Impeached, and threatened to resign....In comparison ....Ordinary people who kill another person because they were threatened, or wanted to rob them, or to gain power and money are arrested and tried and usually sent to prison. but Government Officials who order and kill innocent people because they are looking for Saddam or binLadin, or want to steal their natural resources and land, and to gain power and more control of the Military are given a beer and picnic, with a medal to pin on their lapel as being patriots. Bush and Cheney need to be impeached. And someone needs to grab Obama by the ear, and sit him down and talk sense into him. I don''t think he should resign, but fight and turn it toward them. They are the criminals killing innocent families in Iraq with DU munitions and other methods. How dare they put people who are loving individuals on the offensive, when they are murderers? Sexual infidelity is not worse than lying to go to war, and killing people. In fact it is the opposite. Here we Impeach for *** but Elect for murder. That is totally unacceptable and insane. We should support the Governor and also mention that it would be highly unlikely for a woman Governor or President to be caught in a *** scandal.. Governor Spitzer needs to hold on to his job and make the statement that *** has no place in the work force.

Since it has no place, what he does on his own time outside of work is none of anybodies else%u2019s business. It is legal in Nevada, and the internet is full of it, and the courts ruled in favor of Larry Flynt that it is a form of freedom of speech. Is it Spitzers fault to be captivated like so many other politicians in a country run by the *** industry?
Really its an industry that is highly financed through the Republican party! And anyone else that has lower jobs that have ***, they are never put in the spotlight and demand to resign from their jobs. They do nothing, except promote more of it on the internet. It is a not fair to say the least

I do not think he has done anything wrong, in comparison to the murder the Republicans rally behind. How do we know the personal issues with him? He maybe having sexual difficulties with his wife, and really who does it harm? Being a wife is more than someone to just have *** with. I know men need to be loyal, but we don''t know the reasons for the sexual appetite. It can be quite overwhelming, and so we seek to embarrass people publicly because of it; is wrong. It is none of anyone elses business. It has nothing to do with their jobs, or security of the State or Nation. This *** hunting needs to stop. Really the entire Government body should be chastised, because pornography is so rampant on the internet and nobody says a word about that. In fact I consider the Internet worse than an actually act, because of the availability of so many photos. It is a sickness. Also they were wiretapping him, and spying on him....this is an invasion of privacy, and this needs to stop. All we know they baited him...it was probably a republican call-girl, and he was trying to get information on her ring and leaders.

He had big press conferences announcing his busting of major NY prostitution rings - now he solicites from them. How can he continue to serve in his office if he is lying and breaking the law??

You can''t just bend the laws when the laws become inconvenient. He has to leave - and he should be prosecuted.

He swore to uphold the laws and constitution of New York. He committed a crime by soliciting prostitution. Letting him stay in office effectively legalizes prostitution and the principle the the Governor of NY is above the law.

Nice message to send to kids - he did wrong but we like him so he gets off free.
