Folks, time is short. you better be judging yourselves and not others, we will all be held accountable soon to the Lord. Its been awhile since Mr Ole Anthony stirred up trouble. He tries to every 4 or 5 years. Personally, I feel he''s a partner of the Accuser, Satan. If he can''t regn, he will take as many as he can to Hell with him. Mr Anthany has always been out to disprove the works of those chosen by God. I wonder how many souls you have led to Christ, Mr. Anthony? And arn''t you and everyone else starting to get worried in this late hour about how you will be judged at the Great White Judgement throne? Jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Ther is no person alive in this world without sin or they would not be here!

Time to hang these greedy televangelists out to dry, they have been ripping off the blind sheep for 30 years or more to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. It is one thing that the sheep are blind and like to walk blindly, but for the wolf televangelists to hide behind tax exempt status on their part is truly deceitful and disgusting. They are both (wolf and sheep) disgusting and neither is doing God''s work for God''s sake. They pretend to do God''s work for selfish sake.

TV Pastor John Hagee''s (Cornerstone Church, San Antonio) financial abuse has been well documented on the internet... see "Open Letter to Pastor John Hagee". The problem is, there are no laws against greedy Pastors. Those leaders of 501c3''s are required to have "reasonable" salaries, but "reasonable" has never been defined by the government. Pastor Hagee has public records of being paid over $1 million $$$ from his ministries. Pastor Hagee has since folded his TV operations into his church so he no longer publicly discloses his financial abuse.

This seems to be an attempt by the Democrats to discredit and embarrass Christians as well as to dry up the Republican''s funding. This also seems like Christian persecution to me. If people don''t like what preachers do with their donated money, then, they can just stop donating.

I know Mother Thersea left a dairy of her doubts and struggles she wrestled with, it was all on over the news, I struggle at times myself when I look at this world, and the kind of nonsense going on in the name of God, and how He continues to let these huckters con the sheep, and I wonder when will His righteous judgment fall on them, but I know He is in control, and in His perfect time all will come to light on these people, but back to Mother Theresa there was never a mention of being an atheist, or her having millions stached away, she sure hid it good, because I never saw her living the life style these people do, but my point is just this, if your ever going to come close to even being called God''s "annointed" then you better live like it, and that does not mean achieveing you wealth through robbing and fleecing the flock, or those outside the flock, such as the sick, old, and poor who think if they send money to these people some how a miricale is going to happen in there life.

In our country--your are innocent until proven guilty. In the Bible it says, Judge not, lest you be judged. That about covers every American and/or Christian. The media is known for blowing things all out of proportion before all the facts are in. It happens everyday in the news. Just to get that breaking story. It''s also hard to find the retraction when they get everyone worked up and the story isn''t true. What happened to the media being objective?

For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; decieving many, Mt 24:5. This sounds like a warning from Jesus and sounds fitting to the many of the televangelists now under investigation.

I was not registered, but I HAD to jump in after reading some of these comments. Some of you sound worse than the world (and I will pray for every one of you). One "member of the body" said "we will be judged for every idle word" ... and we will! This request from the Senator is not what is important because Jehovah is keeping score and He is the only one who matters! All of those ministries claim the name of Jesus, and for all of us who are called by His name, grace, kindness and blood, we need to pray. Not just for the outcome of this investigation, but pray for all of those who will be turned off from Jesus because the "question" has even been raised (even before the outcome). Our commission as disciples is to go into all the world and preach the gospel, and for some televangelists, they do that, and for others, they don''t. The real question is ARE YOU!!!

Be mindful that everything done in the dark will come to light ... while being mindful that Satan is the accuser of the brethren.

We will all be judged, but what''s even better than that, the Lord already knows the truth. So don''t worry about the outcome; what have you done today to share the good news of Jesus the Christ? Does your life reflect is glory and goodness???

Make sure you walk, talk, think and act in Agape Love!

If there ever was one who could be pinned God''s annointed, in my life time anyway, it would have to be Mother Theresa, and I am not even Catholic. :o)

Yes even the so called "annointed" will be held to account...who is to claim or say just exactly who God''s "annointed" are?...if it is these people then God is sure showing bad judgement in the people he picks to BE His "annointed"....and I just don''t think God is capable of having bad judgement....so I say these are deffinitely not God''s "annointed"...I think they line up closer to those to whom God will say depart from me I never knew you...but that is just my opinion....just because you head a mega "ministry" and went to seminary etc. does not make you annointed by God...as I have said before a confidence man {con} can fool many a sheep in the field.

Public audits are wonderful and in fact, they are the best tool out there to determine compliance with rules and regulations. However, you have to be careful on how this tool is used. Many people can gather information and misinterpret it. I am an auditor myself and I know that people can twist information.

However, everyone must be held accountable for his or her actions, even churches. Accountability is necessary, but slander and criticism is not. Until you can prove that these ministers are misusing funds, keep your mouth off them. Let God take care of them. Every man must be held accountable for every idle word.

As auditors, we are to use professional skepticism. This means, not assuming that they are right and not assuming that they are wrong, but allow the evidence to speak for itself. I am curious as to what type of audit will be conducted.

Word for the wise:

Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 1 Chron16:21-23

I tell you, on the Day of Judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak.
Matt 12:36

We also notify you that it shall not be lawful to impose tribute, custom, or toll on anyone of the priests, the Levites, the singers, the doorkeepers, the temple servants, or other servants of this house of God. Ezra 7:24

"These ministries" have been around since at least the 80s and 90s...and I believe people have been praying instead of throwing rocks, that is probably why there is finally going to be an investigation of these hucksters, so maybe the prayers have been answered by those asking God to seperate the wheat from the chaff.

All church properties and preachers, and their properties need to be taxed. Jesus said, give unto Ceasar what is Ceasar''s, and unto God which is God''s. These TV preachers have one thing in comon, they ripp off the poor, laughting to the bank, but at the end, they will hear the words, "I never knew you, depart from me". And it is written, "Woman is NOT permited to preach or teach in the church, FALSE teachers they are". When I saw this "circus" on TBN and others, it made me sick, prostetutes in Las Vegas have better tast for "makeup" then the women at TBN. Would like to say more, but I think you got the message. Repent ALL you TV preachers, and you women STOP teaching and preaching.

Acording to the Holy Scriptures, all church properties and the preachers are to be taxed. Jesus said give unto Ceaser what is Ceaser''s, and unto God which is God''s. Being blessed as a Christian is not a problem, but scaming the poor out of their last dollar, is not of God, and should be called a CRIME. Actually the whole group at the TBN is nothing but a circus, and fraudulant. As well as as all the other TV preachers. They all will hear the words, "I never knew you, depart from me..." "...this attack upon the anointed..."

All US taxpayers give money to these organizations through tax subsidies in Federal governement taxes, based on their status as religious organizations. The government wants to ask a few questions about how the money is being spent. As a taxpayer I applaud that.

It is hardly an attack to ask for accountability for funds you give. Unless you believe they have something to hide.

" be careful with this attack on the annointed" as stated by REDBLOOD007.

Please do not play this scare game about touching God''s "annointed"....we are all human, we all will be judged one day, and trust me God is not going to line up all these so called "annointed" ones, and say to the rest of us...why could you not be more like these perfect sinless saints while you were on earth, why did you not follow there example of hoodwinking, and scamming the edlery, the weak, the hurting, the oppressed out of there money, and live the life of royality as these wise "annointed" men and women did...now don''t you wish you would have been more like them...shame on you, you lowly sinners, shame on you......annointed ones, what a bunch of bunk!! no wonder the unsaved world has such a low opinion of christians!!
