CBS news should be ashamed for giving the "ILLEGALS" a format for sympathy. Why do people, supposedly knowlegable people, much more educated that I claim to be, not understand the meaning of ILLEGALS. Each day that I watch CBS evening news I am more disappointed. Fox news here I come and for good.

No sympathy here, and the mother should be charged with neglect (in Mexico) for dragging her child into the desert. She has no right, and should either follow our laws, or stay the heck in Mexico.

Congratulations on a well made, concise and fair piece of journalism. I watch the CBS evening news from Central America (with no intention of moving to the US); notwithstanding the negative comments regarding the recent changes made to the news broadcast, I applaud you for a new perspective for an old format.

You and your staff should be ashamed for helping to perpetuate crime and sympathizing with illegal activities. This issue is not about race and hatred, it is about legality and American security.
