Yep,, It only adds to it, nitrus oxides, depleated uranium, etc.... Possibly killing someone who has an answer.. One thing for sure, our fantistic colleges seem to be pumping out idiots.

As far as the death part, I''ve faced it at the muzzle end of a gun a few times & well over a thousand feet deep..... It''s just another transfer, aprehension about how the next duty station will be.

I totally agree,, many factors are involved --- Not to make light of it, but imagine the archeological finds as the glaciers melt, ironic, finding our beginings at the end.

I''ve heard we have a bit of an increasing wobble & perhaps more of an egg shapeed distortion.... But I kinda look at the bright side,, It''ll be somethig we will never forget.

chimneyfish,,, I''m no student of physics, if I hear you right, it''s more of a weight imballance? Or the weight of what we have contributed through like sucking the resources out, demands from overpopulation ???
,, I know the Earth''s magnitism is reversing & the radiation belt is deminishing, I kind of think of our oil resereves as being like a hydraulic shock absorber for shifting of the planets crust.

Chimneyfish,,, I believe the term is associated with the warming of the poles creating the increasing climatic changes.. It''s a radical difference now compared to 5 years ago.

Chimneyfish,, Although aware of the devistation they cause, I was really impressed at being outside as the eye passed..
... I''ve heard they have an idea of fertilizing the oceans, a bit wacky to me. Maybe some economic gain in BS futures trading.... But a least more are thinking about solutions.... It''s amazing they allow this administration to put out the bull they do.
.. We need that QuikScat satellite replaced it will set hurricane predictions back 7 years & I think the project has been set back to 2016..... That adds up to 15 years of reverse progress.

How can Bush sleep at night ...

He has absolutely no conscience whatsoever ...

When he said "We''re still paying attention. We understand," using this first-person plural pronoun "we," he gave me the impression that he was distancing himself from all responsibility.

If he really wanted to show his concern, really wanted to show his decisiveness and willingness to take responsible, he would have used the first-person singular pronoun.

Bush, you are gutless.

kissamaarse,,, It would have been an easy trend to spot, seriously,
,, But nobody bothered to run a simple employment verification on Bush. Or even attempted a background security check...... I did.

Hmm. Bush says the same thing about New Orleans that he says about Iraq. Can we identify a trend after 6 years? What a fool. What an American embarrassment, here at home and abroad. Tell him to step down. While history will never forgive him for the willing blood on his hands, heaven and hell will be even more exacting. On his judgment day, that which we all face, he will not have the corporate media to protect him.

Bush is such a dullard, such a moron, that he just doesn''t get "it". He is oblivious to the fact that he is one of the most hated men in America and the world and yet still seems to think that people actually seriously believe his continuing lies. The biggest insult he has ever perpetrated on the American people is his constant assumption that all Americans are even more stupid then he is and that he still thinks he has everyone conned. He stands there and lies his as*s off everytime he speaks and then smirks because he''s so fu*cking ignorant that he still thinks people are believing him.

j-whitman I saw the damage both storms caused, ya I am old enough to remember Camille. The damage from that storm was very bad but it covered much less of an area, and their were a lot less people in the area. This storm had a destructive swath that cover from Grand isle La to La Batra Al. Massive damage. I''m kind of amazed that more people did not get killed by the storm itself. Most of these poor people were killed by the engineering disaster that followed. It is hard to imagine the force, cause be water, can do some of the things it can do.
