"He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, and he who gives to the rich will surely come to poverty." Proverbs 22:16

This company has been demolished by greed. Short cuts were made to cut cost and increase profits and now the workers are paying for it..... God help our nation.

Thanks for repeating the question back to me.

Liberals sound like Clinton was never the president, or at least not at fault for anything.

Even though we know the truth about Madoff.

But "nobody cares." Why doesn't anybody care, if they care so much about Bush?

Is it all really just mindless partisan bashing???

Democrat = good
Republican = bad???

AGAIN dummy.

You've posted this nonsense 100 times, and I've responded 100 times with the EXACT SAME response.

There was ONE report of Madoff's activity sent to Clinton's SEC, and ELEVEN sent to Bush's SEC.

Why do you only care about the ONE report that was sent to Clinton's SEC, while giving Bush's regime a pass?

So what you're saying is, the Democrats defense is that they decided to start pandering to the ultra wealthy and help them enslave us, just like the Republicans.

So it's really true, the Democrats are just as bad as the Republicans.

Soooooo WHY ALL THE BASHING OF THE REPUBLICANS when the Democrats are just the same????

What do you plan to do about it now that we realize the Democrats are helping the ultra wealthy enslave us?????
Posted by weedapeapl at 2:47 PM : Apr 30, 2009

They're not helping the wealthy enslave us.

They jumped on that band wagon in the late 1990's, to join the republicans.

The difference being that the republicans shunned ALL oversight responsibilities while they held the White House, congress, and the senate from 2001 - 2007.

When the democrats resumed control in January 2007, they restored those oversight responsibilities that were thrown to the curb, by congress and the senate. And in January of this year, Obama started restoring the oversight responsibilities of the White House, like the SEC. And NOW congress is creating a whole new batch of regulations to reign in the banks, so that they don't go out of control again.

THAT is the difference.

And what is the republicans position on it? They're crying for "smaller government" all over again!!! They're actually CRYING that the government should be throwing away ALL OVERSIGHT -- AGAIN!!!

It's unreal!!!!

Chrysler, like the other Detroit automakers, will survive by selling replicas of their old muscle cars to people longing for the golden days of yesteryear. Harley has been doing the same for years now.

Didn't we just spend 8 years with the silly libtards pointing fingers while never admitting the failures of their beloved Bill Clinton????
Posted by weedapeapl at 2:39 PM : Apr 30, 2009

And we've been watching the conservatives blame Clinton for EVERYTHING from 9/11 to the economic crash of 2008, until November 5th 2008.

On November 5th, everything that happened became Obama's fault.

To hear the conservatives tell the tall tale, Bush was NEVER the president, or at least not at fault for anything.

Then why did Clinton sign it?

And why do you refuse to hold Clinton accountable for it?
Posted by weedapeapl at 2:30 PM : Apr 30, 2009

Clinton signed it willingly, but it WAS veto proof. The republicans MADE SURE that it was.

The problem was that the democrats got sick and tired of losing election after election, because big business was buying favor from the republicans.

In the late 1990's, the democrats jumped on that "pro-business" band wagon, and it's been biting the middle class ever since.

20 some Hedge funds pushed Chrysler into this. They had agreements from their employees, from their lenders, from everyone. But the Hedge funds would not work with them. Chrysler made them the same offer they made to their lenders, they said NO. So now Chrylser is in Bankruptcy. Just one more way the Hedge funds screwed the American people.

All of these BS "financial products", (hedge funds, CDO's, CDS's, etc, etc), need to be permanently outlawed.

Investing should be stocks, bonds, or mutual funds - PERIOD.

All this other crapp needs to go!!!
