Automaker Files Chapter 11; Will Receive $8B To Carry Through Deal With Fiat; Also Will Temporarily Halt Manufacturing
- Genius President, ummm, didn't the Conservatives say to let these crumbling car companies declare bankruptcy from the very beginning instead of the government takeovers???????

- Listening to Rowdy's show.
A liberal just called in and said one word before getting cut off.
That meets my definition of liberal!
Suggestion - hey, there's a reason why radio shows used to have a 20 second delay on live broadcasts.
Remember Janet Jackson?
And yet they STILL broadcast live with no delay. I guess they WANT that to happen.
Do YOU? - Reply to this comment

Everybody dies in the end.
What, did you think you're immortal or something? - Reply to this comment
- Yes he does for sure! But...none of us are perfect. Clinton must have done something to him though.

Pretty much, ya.
But I'm tired of telling my story and getting called a liar.
So I just keep it to myself.
But I know what I saw. And I know what I heard.
Nobody can lie to me about what I saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears.
I was there. - Reply to this comment

Have you ever worked at a radio station?
My sister did for a while.

- LOL Well let's hope that does'nt happen to Weed. I like him on these bosrds. He comes prepared to argue his case thoroughly. Is not really too abusive like some others. He's good for this place even though I don't agree with some of his takes on things, I still respect and like him.

YOu are right, he is prepared for his argument. He seems to have an obsession with clinton though - Reply to this comment
- It looks like that President Obama will appoint a supreme court justice during the summer. Souter is leaving.

- LOL, we CAN WE CAN? oh goody!!! let me rush right out and buy 4 wheels and a seat for $25,000 made by angry people losing their jobs and distracted by all this, and from a company going BANKRUPT, yup, I sure want to take that kind of risk and more risk for warrantees being fulfilled.

- Except I'm takin in stride, and you're blaming the world.

Oh, ya, I did the whole "takin it in stride" thing last time I was unemployed.
Ya, keep that positive attitude, be mellow and relaxed. A job is just around the next corner.
That was six years ago.
I finally figured it out. When you're calm and reasonable and you don't go around tearing into people, that means
YOU ARE A DOORMAT!!!!!!
It only invites people to wipe their feet on you and step all over you.
This time, I am not going quietly to lie down on the door step again.

- Bankruptcy does not mean the No. 3 U.S. automaker will shut down."
Yes it does, when you leave all the dealers, suppliers and parts suppliers hanging with staggering losses just SEE if they will deal with you in the future, or at least not without full payment in ADVANCE.
"Consumers can still buy a Chrysler, warranties will be honored, and dealerships will continue to offer repair service,"

- the reason I voted against McCain/Palin was having Palin the whacko I'll-do-whatever-my-invisible-friend-tells-me-to-do evangelical on the ticket.

You do realize, don't you, that many voters had the exact same concern about JFK.
That didn't seem to be an insurmountable obstacle to him.
But with all his daddy's crime money, very little was insurmountable for JFK. - Reply to this comment

- labels fail. Nobody ever agrees on them.
Posted by slownewsday05 at 7:00 PM : Apr 30, 2009
That's why the definition is more important than the label.
If you just disagree, then you might or might not be a liberal.
But if you delete my post, then you are a liberal. - Reply to this comment

I got the idea from Madoff.
Really the Age of the Big Lie should go back twenty years.
But it wasn't really big until Clinton ignored Madoff in 2000.
So that would be the past 9 years.
I believe historians will include 2000 in the Age of the Big Lie, because that's when Madoff got reported for the first time. - Reply to this comment
