It's now Mr. Obama's issue and so far his approaches have done nothing to engender confidence or hope.

So you need coddling? Someone to tell you everything is Rosey? Blue Skies Ahead?

Typical Republican, Can't face the facts. Doesn't want to hear the truth. Can't handle life without the rose colored glasses....

Obama is telling the truth, LIke it or not! He wasn't handed a balanced budget, and a surplus, he was handed the Great Depression #2. Failed Banks, Failed AIG, ETC... That is what he got handed. 10+ Trillion in debt (with nothing to show for it). 2 Wars!

Now 45+ days into the job and all you can do it complain about the negativeness of his message???

Grow up and face reality~!

I agree the issue in America is lack of morality. We have lost our basic sense of honesty and ethics. So don't you think it is time to change?

It isn't one party or another (although I have to admit I think the basic beliefs of the Democratic Party were also the beliefs of Sodom and Gomorrah.) I think we need a new Party. Maybe we should call it the Liberty Party with God, Family, and Country as its basis. It would be a party devoted to honest discussion and problem solving always based on its three foundational and powerful principles of love of God, love of Family, and love of Country.

I am VERY serious.

The only foolishness happened in the 2000 & 2004 elections when GWB was awarded the presidency...

Obama in his 40+ days in office didn't do this to the economy. It was the republican controlled congress and white house over the past 8 years that did this.

Obama is trying to clean up the mess and if he didn't pump all this money into the failed system, then you'd be complaining that he did nothing and caused the great depression #2...

You can't have it both ways. He either does nothing, or does something. He is doing something...!

It's like you totally ignore the past 8 years of responsibility. Someone has to be responsible for it, and all along your party has blamed Clinton, and now Obama. When will the blame ever get placed where it belongs, On BUSH?

lemonskinkus - the Dems are just as much to blame as Bush and the Repubs, so grow up and deal with reality. The blame game is over. It's now Mr. Obama's issue and so far his approaches have done nothing to engender confidence or hope. He forgets that investors aren't just limited to Wall St.; they're also on Main St., like folks with 401k plans, other pension plans, IRAs, etc. You're probably too young or distracted to have been actively participating in the political process or life, in general, otherwise you'd know history and get the facts straight.

Obamanomics will be the most "anti-business" policy in American history! Welfare for all, tax businesses out of existance and let Big Government run everything and everyone! What a JOKE this President Obama is?

piercetheval,
Stop the hate.....you said:
" ...and aren't we all so lucky that Bush and his cronies didn't get their way and turn your Social Security over to the Stock Market....Reagan spent all the Social Security back in the '80s'...why do you thing that the Repugs want to get out from under that onus by dissolving S.S. and at the same time figure a way to scr*w you out of any future contributions?
...how much $ has been spent on bailouts now that could have been put back into the S.S. system that Reagan pilfered?...how about what this 'War' has cost this nation? "

Now your people are in office and you have to agree we have gone from bad to worse. Now we have total and complete incompetence! Watch the video at the link I posted in my last comment, then stop with the hate and the dogma and take a moment and just think, just think. Your feelings really don't matter when we are in a crisis, time to act. I don't know what else to say.

Thanks to Bush, all you can do is watch the economy tank. Don't worry though, Bush is doing quite well for himself. As for you, well that's a different story. See, you can pump all this money in, and you go to get a car loan, bottom line, how are you going to make the payments if you stand the chance of losing your job. The banks are aware of this too. Greed has killed America.

This is not about George Bush, this is about a Congress and President out of control.

Take a look at this video which lays out clearly where the economy is and why. Time to quit with the dogma, we need to unit and save our country and I can tell you this Democratic Congress and President must change direction or the consequences will be dire for us all. Foolishly Americans voted for President Obama and now the price is being paid. I am not sure why so many Americans have become so foolish.

Posted by nolalou at 9:10 AM...the tax-cut will only be less than $8.00 per week up to $400.00 per worker! Wow, I can now buy a "happy meal" per week for lunch! Thanks Obama!

Don't want 400 bucks a year? Give it to someone who does. Might just point out let's just say 400 bucks per working person about 150,000,000 people working. Do the math nimrod.

When you conclude you can't beat the fire by trying to fight it, might as well sit back and enjoy watching it burn.
