So, I have to agree wit the Doctor that wrote this book. I agree with it 100 percent because it describes the typical liberal mindset as what is displayed day in and day out on these boards.

ALLULOSERS

your a "CATCH 22" the one compelling passage from one book I read so adequaltely describes your current state of mind, Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Posted by ms1-1-1

As stated in the book, by the 2nd term of childhood, children learn to develop "autonomy". Meaning, that they are starting to develop natural independencies as the their growth cycle continues.

However, liberals have had this "growth cycle" stunted (for whatever reasons) and therefore, never really learns self-reliance by adulthood. As so eloquantly stated by the author, liberals, by the legal-term of adulthood, are entering their second stage of child dependency. Simply meaning, that they advocate for surrogates to take care of them for the rest of their lives.

Yes my "Liberal" friends, the excerpts from that book describes you liberals perfectly.

You see, in your minds, your ideology is correct. Despite history proving to you that you are in fact "destroying" the fabric of this nation from within, your self indulgence and endless need to blame others for societies ills for self gratification blinds you to the eventual destruction of that fabric.

The liberal cure for this endless malaise is a very large authoritarian government that regulates and manages society through a cradle to grave agenda of redistributive caretaking. It is a government everywhere doing everything for everyone. The liberal motto is %u201CIn Government We Trust.%u201D To rescue the people from their troubled lives, the agenda recommends denial of personal responsibility, encourages self-pity and other-pity, fosters government dependency, promotes sexual indulgence, rationalizes violence, excuses financial obligation, justifies theft, ignores rudeness, prescribes complaining and blaming, denigrates marriage and the family, legalizes all abortion, defies religious and social tradition, declares inequality unjust, and rebels against the duties of citizenship. Through multiple entitlements to unearned goods, services and social status, the liberal politician promises to ensure everyone%u2019s material welfare, provide for everyone%u2019s healthcare, protect everyone%u2019s self-esteem, correct everyone%u2019s social and political disadvantage, educate every citizen, and eliminate all class distinctions%u2026the liberal politician is the hero in this melodrama. He takes credit for providing his constituents with whatever they want or need even though he has not produced by his own effort any of the goods, services or status transferred to them but has instead taken them from others by force. (The liberal Mind. Rossiter, Lyle H. JR.)

What the liberal mind is passionate about is a world filled with pity, sorrow, neediness, misfortune, poverty, suspicion, mistrust, anger, exploitation, discrimination, victimization, alienation and injustice. Those who occupy this world are %u201Cworkers,%u201D %u201Cminorities,%u201D %u201Cthe little guy,%u201D %u201Cwomen,%u201D and the %u201Cunemployed.%u201D They are poor, weak, sick, wronged, cheated, oppressed, disenfranchised, exploited and victimized. They bear no responsibility for their problems. None of their agonies are attributable to faults or failings of their own: not to poor choices, bad habits, faulty judgment, wishful thinking, lack of ambition, low frustration tolerance, mental illness or defects in character. None of the victims%u2019 plight is caused by failure to plan for the future or learn from experience. Instead, the %u201Croot causes%u201D of all this pain lie in faulty social conditions: poverty, disease, war, ignorance, unemployment, racial prejudice, ethnic and gender discrimination, modern technology, capitalism, globalization and imperialism. In the radical liberal mind, this suffering is inflicted on the innocent by various predators and persecutors: %u201CBig Business,%u201D %u201CBig Corporations,%u201D %u201Cgreedy capitalists,%u201D U.S. Imperialists,%u201D %u201Cthe oppressors,%u201D %u201Cthe rich,%u201D %u201Cthe wealthy,%u201D %u201Cthe powerful%u201D and %u201Cthe selfish.%u201D (The Liberal Mind - Lyle Rossiter, Jr., M.D.)

Objectively, I should say that there are many reasons why things that you point out happen (economy, 70 percent wanted change, etc...). Those reasons are most likely too complex for you and I to grasp hold of when pinpointing blame.

However, the liberal mindset is pretty straight forward and describes exactly what you blog about day in and day out.

For example (and I''ll use another exerpt from the book - The Liberal Mind, because that happens to be the one I''m reading now), you''re insatiable thirst for "blaming others" for your grandiose utopia for cradle to grave entitlements that you support, is described here:

To be continuded....

This describes IRMCVET to a tee:

%u201CUnder the creed of modern liberalism, the individual citizen is not called to maturity but is instead invited to begin a second childhood. Like the child at play, he is given, or at least promised, ultimate economic, social and political security without having to assume responsibility for himself. The liberal agenda requires him to remain in an artificial environment--the daycare program of the grandiose state--where he need not become an adult, take responsibility for his own welfare, nor cooperate with others to achieve what the state will give him for nothing.%u201D (The liberal Mind. Rossiter, Lyle H. JR.)

and

%u201C%u2026an economically and socially dependent adult child who claims to be victimized, blames others for his failures, seeks parental surrogates, attempts to manipulate the political system, and feels entitled to coerce goods and services from others while ignoring their rights to refuse his demands. .%u201D (The liberal Mind. Rossiter, Lyle H. JR.)

I meant all the old school administrative BS doing nothing and sitting around at CID, CYF, EPA, OSHA, Tax and Rev, CIA, FBI, Soc.Sec, MediCare, the DOT, Education! I meant those deadbeats!

Next on the jobless chopping block? ALL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, including the US Military welfare complex. Then federal, state, county, city government workers! Time to cut our US taxes! All levels of the government payroll can subsidize our tax cuts! Not one "fired" government employee will be missed, guaranteed!

Posted by ConDumbistan at 08:07 AM : Jan 10, 2009

Hey you know YOU fascist had absolute and complete control of the Federal Government and YOU did NOTHING! Let me ask you something Sparky! Just HOW MUCH failure would it take for you? Can YOU give me ONE MONTH when Supply Side Economics was NOT running this nation in the red? ONE month when we saw our standard of living going UP? I have seem sick political people in my time but honestly you NeoCon''s are the WORST, even worse than those who bowed to McCarthy. THE people of this nation went to the POLLS in RECORD Numbers and they said with a VERY strong voice that they wanted the DIRECTION of this nation CHANGED. Now you either believe in democracy or you WILL pay a VERY heavy price. They, the folks out there who work and DRIVE the economy, will NOT take it anymore. That is a message YOU must get and YOU''D better get it soon. Doubt what I say? VISIT any local bar after the shift gets off and LISTEN!! THAT will scare the pants off you CEO types and that ain''t no lie! Now lets all get behind this very intelligent young man and do what the BOSS wants. Sieg Heil Y''all.

- AT&T just cut throats of it''s ''LOYAL'' employees, here is a valuable lesson people particular for corporate .p.r.o.s.t.i.t.u.t.e.s when your boss gets fired no one protects you now do they, so all the spreading your legs to ensure you get to keep your jobs isn''t so fail proof is it now, as for the rest of the ''SHEEP'' here is how to play the game... apply any company any where USA, THEN apply for FEDERAL GOVNERNMENT JOBS, they don''t give pink slips, they don''t file Bankruptcy, why, United States Government owns it and will make certain it is a fail proof system. City,County,State any where USA do not and never were fail proof, anyone any where USA can buy the positions they want and many times the good positions are filled already by friends, family you can bank on it. *** jobs are a dime a dozen file clerks, fetch a copy of coffee for me, go to bed with me if you expect to keep your job (seriously I am not joking companies who participate in this game just to name a few: Scots Valley Ca Boreal, Sea Gate Technologies) notorious for corporate ho''s

Have YOU ever actually READ the Constitution? The part about WE the PEOPLE? Well WE the PEOPLE went to the polls in November and told the entire WORLD that the Republican Lie called Trickle Down, does NOT work. WE the People said in a VERY loud Voice that WE wanted a CHANGE in course. We didn''t ask for a "Messiah"... no all we wanted was a LEADER who could actually speak the English language. You see when you have had to live with "trickle down" and George Bush for 8 years you are just happy to have a NORMAL Leader who you can understand. Sorry to step on the swastika but that''s just the truth! Sieg Heil Y''all.

Don''t worry folks. The jobs will eventually come back... in another country. All you have to do is learn to speak Mandarin, move to China, and accept a 95% pay cut.
