you people bellyaching about wal-mart are people with
good paying jobs or owners of buisiness that are hurt by the sales . Us people who need the discounts are grateful for the break so bellyache over something that matters to more than your poor selves needing someone to flatter.

What''s the difference between discounts at Wal Mart or a good paying job that makes it possible to pay the ''real price'' to produce the goods you consume?

The difference is is that ''Wal Mart discounts'' exploits labor in Asia and Africa and forces the American in a race to the bottom.

Walmart:

An American company that uses as many part time employees as possible to avoid benefits.

The largest employer in America with the highest number of employees on assistance of any company.

The biggest importer in the US. All in an effort to make more profit while shaving prices at the expense of those producing those items.

Am company offering generally inferior quality products with some name brands.

A company that has to be taken to court to pay it''s employees the overtime it owes.

A company that sells poisend pet food.

A company that offers 400 perscriptions at lower prices, many the same with different names, of the 400 nearly a 1/3 are the same basic drug.

A company that does more newspaper stuffing to coax us in with a higher trash out than any other company.

**** poor surly employees in general.

Ah-but yes we as Americans love the place. Admit it, if we didn''t it never would have gotten to where it is today.

WalMart helping the economy? Rightttttttttttttttttttt

THIS is the attitude the President was talking about! The attitude that it doesn''t matter how much something hurts others or the nation as long as NUMBER ONE is taken care of. Have YOU ever thought about HOW those discounts are made? How Walmart is able to sell that cheap? Of course you haven''t because YOU only care about yourself.

Aww poor walmart. maybe this year they will only make 80 billion in profit instead of 90 billion. I don''t know how they''ll be able to keep their doors open on that kinda money....

Is anybody up for sending Michael T. Duke (the new Wal-Mart CEO) a flood of e-mails and letters advising him that his companies sales will skyrocket if it goes back to it''''s original "MADE IN THE USA" policy?

I know you mean well, however, all that will happen is that Walmart''s IT department will have a larger trash bin to empty. They couldn''t care less about our opinion. If you think it will help, then go for it but I don''t think it will make a shred of difference. The US has NO intention of slowing down importing Chinese garbage.

I refuse to shop at Wal-mart, as well. Haven''t crossed the door of that place in over a year.

ATTENTION, WAL-MART EXECS! I HAVE THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR INCREASING YOU SALES!

Go back to Mr. Walton''s original "MADE IN THE USA" theme. It will certainly cut down on your inventory for awhile, but a huge "BUY AMERICAN" campaign, prompted by WAL-MART will send your sales through the ROOF! I promise. We the people of the United States are ready to stop importing Chinese, Tiawanese, Japanese, Bangladeshi, Indian, etc. SUBSTANDARD and POISONOUS products, and buy consumer goods that are manufactured here at home. Quit whining about your sales forecasts, show your patriotism and seel ONLY American made goods.

I haven''t entered a Wal-Mart in years nor will I ever again, their stores are filthy, disheveld messes, their employees are completly un-helpful, probally because they are paid slave wages and treated like cattle. Sam Walton is turning over in his grave given what his original goals and standards were. WAL-MART WILL NEVER AGAIN GET ONE PENNY OF MY MONEY!!!!

Nothing pleases me more than hearing that Walmart is suffering financially! After watching the High Cost documentary last year about Walmart, I ceased all contact with that store. They are nothing but oppressors of the weak. I support local businesses and buy from companies that produce in this country. Walmart''s dismal performance is reflective upon their poor customer service, their filthy stores and the junk they sell.

Kmart isn''t much better. That store has some of the WORST customer service ever. I stopped shopping there after finding expired milk and cold food products time and time again. They usually have one register open with a personality-less person manning it.
