George Bush, the 21st Century Herbert Hoover....what a disaster he''''s been for the country. ---Posted by jsl45 at 11:42 AM : Dec 24, 2008.

There is also a sense of personal judgement that SHOULD go along with a president who everyone knew was a dimwit.

You can''t blame everything on Bush, thats true, though Cheney and his billionaire cronies are more responsible for the mess this country is in. Stupidity goes both ways.

Diversification. Rule #1 of investing.

How men supposedly as sophisticated as Mort Zuckerman fell for a Ponzi Scheme, remains unexplained.

Maybe Gloria Steinem was right to dump him.

I''ll admit. Some of you on here with your rather cocky statements blaming everything on Bush are pretty funny. Too bad you have nothing tangible to say about it. Maybe it''s time you began attempting to figure out how to get out of it instead of putting down everyone around you.

I just can''''t remember reading about any famous person choosing that means.

Of course the guy was distraught, capable of any crazy act. Maybe he was trying to punish himself.

It''s strange. The last time I p***ed away $1.2 billion, I was a lot more philosophical about it.

Bush can''t be blamed for Madoff''s scheming. He''s been at this for decades, long before Bush became president. And many of the Dem programs, since the 1960s have led up to the problems we''re happening. Also, I''ll bet critics of Bush, Repubs and Wall Street-types aren''t the least bit miffed or even offended by the hideously huge pay packages sports and entertainment figures continue to get, even if their efforts are failures or flops. These pay packages are just as egregious, out of line and undeserved as those on Wall Street.

True, but men seeking that way out, would use a gun.

I just thought the combination of sleeping pills and a box cutter was odd. A razor blade would have been more efficient.

A person can be coerced by various means into swallowing pills.

I''m not advancing a conspiracy theory here. It probably was a suicide.

I just can''t remember reading about any famous person choosing that means.
