I cannot speak for others but many of my sources are IG reports of corruption and incompetent management by this administration. As these people have appropriate access and are charged with reviewing the details of government operation. There are few superior sources for information as to the conduct of any administration. - Reply to this comment
- for one, will accpet our recessions and our depressions over the persistent failures and restrictions of socialism. I have personally witnessed the standard of living in socialist countries and find them, at best, about equal to our worst recession and perhaps slightly better than our depressions.
We enjoyed easy success after WWII destroyed all factories but ours. Until the late 70''''''''s when Japan (a mostly capitalist society) began to outperform us. Even though they enjoy salaries similar to ours. Much of their ability to outperform us comes from their pride in their industries (no rampant union/management hatred), and their work ethic. they have no "war on poverty" the prefer to build their own great society.

1) Go Ahead, Ignore those 3 Great Depressions and 32 Recessions you never lived just for the convenient of your argument.
2) The Currency of Socialist Nations is outperforming the U.S. Dollar since 2000. See Europe, Asia, Canada and Latin America.
3) What you just said about Japan prosperity can be exactly said about all the now Developed Nations beating us with Universal Health Care and Safety Net programs. Unions were born directly from the Abuses of Capitalism. Government provides these Protections at these Developed Nations. This is why USA will have tons and tons of new Regulations within the next 2 years. Tighten your Seat Belts!

- Thank God that at least one Branch of our government is still at work, the Bush Administration.
According to our liberal press we are in the worst economic condition since the Great Depression, yet the Democrats who took over our Congress and the Economy two years ago left Washington DC a week ago on VACATION and won''t be back until next year. Maybe that''s why the new Rasmussen poll puts them as the WORST Congress in American history...............here you go:
", December 19, 2008
Approval of Congress'' job performance is down to single digits again for the first time since early September.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters found that only nine percent (9%) give Congress good or excellent ratings, while 54% give the legislature poor marks. Just one-out-of-50 voters (2%) think Congress is doing an excellent job.
The last time the ratings were this low was on September 9. In late November, 12% gave Congress good or excellent ratings. This is now the fifth time congressional ratings have fallen below 10% since June 1. "
Of course the liberals have all kinds of EXCUSES for their lazy worthless hero''s Harry and Nancy.
But in there really is no excuse for them leaving on vacation as millions of Americans suffer from their two years of total INACTION - Reply to this comment

- He does this for 2 of the Big 3 while main street continues to fold. Some companies are laying off very quietly, trying to avoid the media, but they are still doing it. The company I work for layed off 60 more today, bringing the grand total to 90 in the last 3 weeks. This is not going away, and these attempts to make it are wasting taxpayer money.

If you think the autoworkers are actually getting $75 an hour you are wrong. This is a lie.
They get about $30 an hour. The rest is every possible take on every other benefit included plus adding in every retiree that ever worked for the auto companies. One headline today trumpets that GM retirees are getting 95% of their work pay. What percentage of GM employees actually make it to full retirement. What maybe 20 percent. How many die within 5 years of retirement what 50% of that ramaining group. Do the math. This is a scam

If you think the average worker in America gets $30 and hour you are wrong. The average is about $21 per hour. And almost no one gets the benefits given to the UAW. There are 300,000 in the UAW. So, if each UAW worker would accept the same wages as the US average you can save the Big 3 $5.6 Billion EACH YEAR! Add in a few CEO''s and a couple private jets and you get real money. Then, reduce benefits to what the average is and you get nearly $10 Billion savings a EACH YEAR. AND, no one loses their job and the government stays out of your business. Then all you have to do is make decent cars. - Reply to this comment
- What I still fail to understand with every ounce of my now saturated with disbelief cognitive mind-shocked cranium, at the intense hypocrisy of the audacious, brutal assault on future yet to be born American taxpayers this Hey BIIIIGGG Spender President has already committed through a eyeball bulging DOUBLING of a already heavily steeped Reagan-Bush dynasty back-breaking gift to future American taxpayers during this psychopathic monster''s infestation of our White House, is why this psychopathic JACKASS had a problem loaning 18 billion to the auto industry, on the heels of the TRILLIONS dollar bailout of an industry who can''t manage their own finances or cut their own operating costs, or insure their customers assets without taxpayer dollars, even after getting money on the REAL CHEAP from taxpayers (next to zero percent??? interest)?

- The Arctic National wildlife Refuge from its most generous estimates would supply the US demand from somewhere between 8 to 12 months.

Whose estimates are you looking at? Some bureaucrat for Greenpeace....or the estimates from the people that know the oil fields.

Those are figures that the proponents of the opening up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge are espousing. - Reply to this comment
