Deepening Recession Results In More Than Half A Million Jobs Cut In Nov.; Unemployment Rate Now 6.7%
- The Dems and their minions in the MSM will do the only thing they know how to do - blame Bush.

They''re STILL blaming Reagan and even Nixon.
Conveniently "forgetting" the Clinton years between then and now. Clinton had 8 years to fix whatever Reagan and Nixon did.
But Clinton NEVER gets the blame. Kennedy NEVER gets the blame. NO DEMOCRAT EVER GETS THE BLAME for ANYTHING. - Reply to this comment
- They failed to act effective ... on the early indicators of trouble and as a result caused the greater magnitude of problems we now have.

On this point, I agree.
The "early indicators of trouble" was THE ENTIRE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION.
And I fault Bush because now he has had an EQUAL AMOUNT OF TIME to correct the disasters caused by the intentional BIPARTISAN SABOTAGE of our nation during the Clinton years.
But instead of SCRUBBING DOWN THE ENTIRE GOVERNMENT like he promised to scrub the Oval Office, Bush foolishly continued the policies of the Clinton administration. His policy was "If is isn''t broke, don''t fix it." Now WE''RE ALL GOING BROKE.
Bush''s biggest mistake was that he waited for things to blow up before he fixed them. And he waited WAY TOO LONG to react after the explosion. - Reply to this comment
- However it is clear that the President and his administration acted proverbially like Nero playing the fiddle while the Rome burned.

- How''''s that bailout working, Congress?
Remember, REPUBLICANS DON''''T HAVE A MAJORITY IN EITHER HOUSE OF CONGRESS. Whatever Congress did, DEMOCRATS SUPPORTED IT.
Republicans couldn''''t have done it by themselves.

However it is clear that the President and his administration acted proverbially like Nero playing the fiddle while the Rome burned. They failed to act effective (or possibly otherwise, including ineffective use of the first 350 billion of the bailout) on the early indicators of trouble and as a result caused the greater magnitude of problems we now have. - Reply to this comment

- In Reaganomics, you cut taxes to stimulate the economy. That''s the upside. The downside is now you have to pay off a massively increased public debt.
If Bush cut taxes, and doubled the national debt to $10 trillion, to stimulate the economy, what happened? I feel like wearing a T-shirt that says, ''Bush doubled my national debt, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt!'' - Reply to this comment
- The numbers are growing and thats bad for a corrupt Washington.Without help the middle class will start slowly being put on the streets, broke, homeless, jobless.when the numbers get big enough, these people will march on Washington and it will not be pretty.people who have worked hard all their lives will have lost everything while the rich fat cats in Washington and their lobby dollar cohorts from corporate America are stealing everything.God protect the people from these evil Terrorists that are destroying our country, white collar , suit and tie terrorists, on capitol hill....TREASON.

- That cheney was right on top of this economy. Sure.
How hypocritical of any reich wing nutjob to act like they know ANYTHING about running an economy.
All they can do is RUIN an economy.
Failure to accept responsibility is cowardly and pathetic and evil just like the nazi''s.
