- No one bailed me out of the insane asylum. I had to do it on my own. Leave Wall Street to their own affairs. (Les Affaires, as the free-marketers insist. Let not the government intervene).

- We need to take all this bailout money and invest in real renewable energy, medical research, and sustainable design research. We need to socialize healthcare and subsidize student tuition in these feilds as well. We also need to repeal the taft-hartly act, cut the size of our military and remove our troops form 120 of the 173 countries they are currently stationed in. Finally, we need to impose massive tarrifs on countries who use slave labor, destroy the environment, and expose workers to lethal working conditions (China, latin america, and all southeast asia).
We will then have enough money to wipe our rears with and the poor and middle class of our country will actually have opportunities instead of hopelessness. - Reply to this comment
- Does anyone wonder why congress is debating bailing out the "big 3" when they hardly blinked when the financial industry wanted $800 billion that turned into 3 trillion (one vote against the bill was made then nothing was changed and it passed unanimously)?
The reason why is obvious, the financial companies are what have helped the rich elite further exploit people around the world and further widen the chasm between the rich and poor in the nation. Thus, all the rich pressed for the financial bailout which was probably the biggest rape of the American public ever! What our country should have done was let Wall Street and the rich elite burn and instead socialize the pensions and home loans in the US.
Now the only reason why the auto industry is getting grilled is because of the UAW union which is the largest left in the US and which still has some political sway. The corporate crooks on both the democrat and republican side are against bailing them out because they want to see this union fall, just like they have been letting minimum wage fall far below a living wage.
Now my opinion is that we should let these auto companies burn. GM created and killed the electric car evolution with the EV1 car and then their subsequent destruction and sale of all automobile battery patents to Exxon-Mobile. Ford motors and GM helped overthrow governments in Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia and thus is directly responsible for the deaths of millions of people. - Reply to this comment

You love nothing about what this country stands for except your own self-centered selfish designs. You who''s more than ready to condemn anything that flies in the face of your narrow-minded views and so full of bigotry, loathing and hate. - Reply to this comment

Good. Then I''ll share your version of patriotism as well.
Blind trust in anything our leaders tell us or do.
Those who have had the fortune of being born on some particular spot, consider themselves better, nobler, grander, more intelligent than the living beings inhabiting any other spot. It is, therefore, the duty of everyone living on that chosen spot to fight, kill, and die in the attempt to impose his superiority upon all the others.
That%u2019s just stupidity, and it replaces some very lofty concepts about the true meaning of the word with the mindless goose-stepping of cowardly sycophants.
Not to mention your jingoistic janglings of jerkidtude. - Reply to this comment
