BAIL OUT the AMERICAN TAXPAYER!!
Instead of giving %u201CAll%u201D of our $700 Billion tax dollars to
the Big 3 (Ford, Chrysler, GMC) Failing Banks and Financial Firms,
HOW ABOUT SPREADING THE WEALTH?
Provide the 305+ million American taxpayers a %u201CBailout%u201D of $1 million each.
To turn this failing American economy around give a %u201CBailout Check%u201D of $1 million to all Working and LAID OFF taxpaying American Citizens.
Our %u201CBailout Check%u201D, would help:
1. The money could only be spent in the United States of America on American made
Cars. (Ford, Chrysler and GMC) sell cars from $18,000 - $30,000 per car for 5 yrs.
this would help the Auto Industry and put AMERICAN WORKERS back to work.
Build ECO-friendly cars that will help Air pollution and Global Warming.
The Big 3(Ford, Chrysler and GMC) can use their Taxpayer%u2019s Billions to Retool!
ALL AMERICAN consumers can go shopping and help the American economy
.
DO THE MATH; $305 MILLION - $700 BILLION

THE BOTTOM LINE

%u201CBAILING OUT%u201D All Americans will ALSO help this economy.

Instead of Failed Creative Financing, what about some Creative THINKING!!

You GM CEO''s sabotaged yourselves when you sabotaged the promising EV-1 electric cars, not just by torpedoing its market lure, but by cloaking, and then selling to Big Oil control of the advanced battery technology that should have debuted with the EV-1. You conspired with Big Oil and Bush to quash the CA clean-air mandate for a quota of electric cars per auto maker. You ripped away the EV-1''s from their lessees just so that you could attempt to re-write history, to contend that these excellent vehicles represented a failed attempt at introducing electric cars to the public, and could keep the public at large uninformed of their true significance and desirability. You were the Pied-Piper for all other auto-makers engaged in similar innovations to follow suit. You CRUSHED and GROUND the EV-1''s. Now you have the unmitigated gall to ask of the American Public, "What will WE do?" and "Collapse is imminent if we do nothing."? You''ve ALREADY accomplished "NOTHING", neither for yourselves, for your labor force, for your future or the future of our economy. You sealed your fate when you conspired against consumers economically and environmentally. And then you slap us in the face with the Chevy Volt, a vehicle that represents your continued effort to keep consumers tethered to BIG OIL. The truth of what you did will continue to spread and the Chevy Volt will BUST. Rick Wagoner, you should be raked over coals and then convicted for FRAUD. BRING BACK THE PURE ELECTRIC CAR!!!

Top heavy companies and over-priced workers are why they can''t compete. How many VP''s do you need and why is a guy putting lug nuts on making $25 an hour. Couple that with poor quality and guess what, you lose customers. Detroit has made their beds now lay in them. Cut management and brings wages to a reasonable level, improve quality and maybe people will again buy American. And for goodness sakes does a GM truck and SUV have to cost 1/2 what a house cost.

Well we all are witnessing the results of those misguided policies now. America no longer produces value-added goods, but imports them from abroad. The increasingly larger trade deficit means that wealth, along with jobs, is being continually drained out of the country. But how did we still manage to get by for so long? By continually borrowing and adding to the national debt.

The ONLY solution that works, that nobody dares mention, and that some immediately deride, is to PROTECT America''s industries. Other nations do it for theirs. It''s time for America to do the same.

The U.S. economic downturn can be directly traced back to globalization and free-trade policies. Prior to that, America was a self-sufficient, self-sustaining nation that produces its own goods and exports a lot of it. Americans'' wages were multiples of those of other countries. Tariffs were used to prevent the "dumping" of foreign products designed to damage the domestic manufacturing sector.

With the advent of globalization, what used to be called "dumping" became legal, decimating the domestic manufacturers and forcing them to outsource and move plants to other countries in order to survive. The American worker is being asked to "compete" against those in other countries working for a few dollars a day, with little or no labor laws and regulations. Guess what? There was no competition.

Proponents of globalization promised that new industries would emerge to replace old ones, and that new "innovations" would keep the American worker competitive. Well, that didn''t happen. They neglected to explain what those new industries would be, and even if they existed, why corporations wouldn''t just go ahead and have them produced in other countries anyway, since labor is still so much cheaper.

Another group of CEO''s that ran their businesses into the ground and wants the people to solve their problems. You wrecked it, now fix it. Make an affordable product, with some quality to it, maybe you''ll be able to compete in a market you used to dominate.

I the devil was cast out of heaven, its written in the book. And I swindled man to give up the authority he had. Man, like yourself, has a SELF nature now. You even know that. The end result when you leave the world above will be that you get to spend it down here with me if you do not turn to Jesus Christ to be your sin bearer. I hope you do not because then all of your earthly life you stay in bondage to my way of thinking. The SELF way.

Please use your wisdom and do not ask God for his wisdom by asking him for it in the name of his son Jesus.
This way, because of SELF, the mistakes keep on happening and happening I just sit back and watch you in your folly until one day you die and you even lose your self.

Why is the figure cited as hourly labor costs by the companies so much higher than the wage rates?
Wage rates are how much a worker gets paid per hour of straight-time work.

The labor cost figures cited by the companies include overtime, shift premiums and other expenses associated with having a person on a payroll. This includes the costs of negotiated benefits such as health care, pensions, education and training and prepaid legal services. It also includes statutory costs, which employers are required to pay by law, such as federal contributions for Social Security and Medicare, and state payments to workers%u2019 compensation and unemployment insurance funds.

While wage rates are virtually identical for all five companies covered by UAW auto industry contracts, total labor costs vary considerably. This is because the cost of retirement and health care benefits varies with the age and composition of a particular workforce, and with the number of retirees from that company. The amount of overtime worked at the different companies also affects their labor costs.

Please, please continue denying the love of God has for you.
I do not want God telling me what to do? I just want Self and for others to be lost the SELF way without the assurance of Gods promise through the blood of Jesus that Jesus is alive and that he paid your sin debt in full!
You%u2019re on the right track for my way as you already know, The SELF way?
Soon you will be down here with me separated from the love of God you could of had had you called out to Jesus to save you, your need of him because you are a sinner!%u201D

I mean if they work the average 40 hrs per week for 52 weeks out of the year.....That''''s $80K for the $40/hr worker and $140K for $70/hr worker each year.

Posted by melchg at 10:58 PM : Nov 18, 2008

I think they are figuring in health costs, pensions, 401K costs, etc. into that dollar figure.

The bible is against me and I hate it?
When it talks about Gods chosen people I get mad as hell.
The Lord Jesus even quoted it to me when I tempted him in the wilderness and I had to flee?
The bible is the only place where it talks about Gods chosen people. I rather have any good than Gods absolute right and wrong?
Because self then rules by its own understanding with God not being in the picture?
My hope is that no one else will turn to Jesus as their sin bearer so that they can have eternal life here and there.

I influence peoples motives without them realizing it is me, the devil, thats doing it.

How Ironic the Japanese bombed the US and killed thousands US military and US citizens during World War II

Now US citizens are praising Japanese auto makers and trashing US workers

Posted by unionwrkrtes at 10:26 PM : Nov 18, 2008

unionwkrtes, you are grasping at straws,.....this doesn''t support your arguement.

Changes have to be made, the Japneses government has to stop supporting the yen and US automakers have got to change the way they do things.

The three American automakers generally pay about 30 percent more per hour in wage, pension and health care costs than Japanese automakers.

Ford, according to its annual report, paid $70.51 per hour in wages and benefits to workers last year. GM''''s annual report says its labor costs average $73.26 per hour, while Chrysler''''s costs average $75.86 -- all well above the average $48 hourly cost incurred by Toyota, Honda and Nissan.

To the people who are against the bailout, think about this: Why do you think Toyota and Honda and BMW set up shop in the U.S.? Why didn''t they just go to China or some other country? Is it because of the cheap labor here? Nope. It''s because they know that by doing so, Americans will be more acceptable and more likely to buy their products. After all, at least some of the money stays right here in the good ole U.S.A. This would mitigate some of "anti-foreign" sentiments from the American consumer.

If the Big Three go bust, there will be no longer any reason for foreign automakers to stick around, when labor costs in other countries are much, much cheaper. So, union or not, all the non-union Toyota and Honda plants you''ve been heaping praise on, will slowly but surely be moving out of the country. And more Americans will try to find work selling or serving stuff to each other.

Not saying that the bailout is the right solution, just that the repercussions of the Big Three''s demise will be tremendous.
