We''ll see who''s "clueless" or a "*******" in the fullness of time.
There is a price to pay for reckless spending... If you think it''s your patriotic duty, you can pay my share too. However, I will not.
It''s time to leave the country while you still can. If you aren''t smart enough to see that, I''m sorry for you; the forces of natural selection will make short work of you. - Reply to this comment
- republican7,
Your an idiot and clueless at the same time. Talking about 70% taxes is totally moronic. Get a clue *******. - Reply to this comment
- "Good thing there are enough patriotic Democrats around to provide this nation with the backbone and funding required to keep the Republicans safe while they scheme over how to avoid taxes. "
There is nothing patriotic about watching your taxes go to 50, 60, or 70% to pay for this ill-conceived bail-out or the "investments" Mr. Obama thinks we all really need. In fact, I think it''s pretty stupid.
On the other hand, hanging out here when those jokers in washington simply spend without taxing, blowing a hole in the deficit & printing money to paper things over is stupid also.
There is nothing patriotic about staying on board the titanic as it goes down for good. In fact, it''s really stupid. And if you wait too long, you won''t be able to get out. This is one of those situations where the forces of natural selection will quite literally determine who lives & who dies. - Reply to this comment
- Yup, this Administration makes the Teapot Dome boyz look like rank amateurs.
I just hope they don''t burn the White House down in their race to ensure they leave no evidence unburned come November 5th. - Reply to this comment
- Henry Paulson (aka principal McVicker) was a major player in creating the credit market meltdown. It''s ludicrous to expect him to fix it. We need really smart people in charge of this, but all we get is principal McVicker!

- Bush has voted for the one he feels will continue his agenda, so it is clear that if you loved Bush, you''ll also love McSame.

- This is what happens when you write a $700 billion blank check. What do you think they will do? Now they''ll decide which fat cats to give the money to and how much. The American people need not apply. The corporations are lining up and scrambling to get a piece of YOUR money.

- Good old Republicans...won''t show up to fight the wars they start, and will jump on any excuse to avoid paying the taxes needed to buy the ammo to fight for them.

- "Basically, i would tell the IRS to kiss my a$%"
Trouble is unless you''ve thought things through ahead of time, they''ll say "Love to, sir" then siphon your bank account dry in Canada, or wherevever, with the acquiescence if not actual support of your host country.
I plan to just quietly fall off the tax rolls & stop filing a return, but only after I''ve created financial structures where I have beneficial control over all the assets, but it''s virtually impossible to determine that I, in fact, do. - Reply to this comment
