The stock market rebounded today and it is expected that the Great Emperor Bush II, John McBush McCain, Sarah "Moose-hunter" Palin, and all neocon Fascist Nazis everywhere will rush to take credit for it.

In fact, if the recovery on Wall Street continues, McBush is expected to rush back to Washington in the hopes that the Great Emperor Bush II will award him a medal and his fellow Congressmen/women will give him a special award for single-handedly solving the Wall Street mess which he and "Dr. Phil" Gramm helped to create in 1999.

This, of course, would undoubtedly help his campaign which is what he is counting on.

Unfortunately, McBush and the neocon Fascist Nazis at the RNC have had a track record of making mistakes and shooting themselves in the foot over the past 3 months, and besides, aside from a core of stupidly-loyal dedicated Nazis out there, it is expected that most voters won''t buy into any McBush claim!

SIG HEIL, I TOLD YOU IT WOULD WORK, EVENTUALLY!!!, BUSH!!!
sig heil, OBAMA IS A DECENT MAN, EVEN THOUGH HE IS AMBITIOUS AND A LIAR!!!, McBush!!!
sig heil, DON''T FORGET HE IS A TERRRRRORIST TOO!!!, Palin!!!

The governments have spoken:

The only socialism in our ''free-market'' economies will be for the investor class. The rest of you? Get back to work, paying off that debt!

I''ve learned a lot during this economic crises. I''ve finally realized that the world economy, even in civilized Europe and the US, revolves around the rich folks.
The trust they talk about only matters when it comes to financial institutions lending each other billions of dollars every day. This money in turn is used to lend people who will be charged an inhume amount of interest rates and all sorts of fees if you even dare to sneeze the wrong way.
And to see people of both political parties in bed with the rich sickens me. As long as they don''t have to see your face you don''t exist to them.
And then these politicians will go on TV looking concerned about the little people when in fact they must hate every word they''re saying.
To them and their rich friends we''re nothing but a nuisance. Nothing but money to be taken away. Nothing but numbers they can shift around so they can get the most out of us.
I''m totally disillusioned with this whole system. All I want to do now is escape from it all.
I want to live far away from all this, perhaps in an indian community in Central or South America or a village in Asia where life is dirt cheap, there are no salesmen to bother you at every turn, no credit cards I have to have, and where people can walk by me as I sit on my porch smoking weed without a care in the world, and without anyone getting on my face telling me what a bad example I am to kids.
I want peace from all this BS and live life without owing anyone anything.

You mis-spelled the word "is"; the correct spelling is "used-ta-be".

What happened today is a "Dead Cat Bounce." The government isn''t solving the underlying problems. Plus we will still have issues with the airlines, automakers, poor retail holiday/travel sales, and the poor earnings season to come. These new policies are going to cause us to owe so much money it will be fruitless to discuss lower taxes.

Wait, wait! This sounds like great news...except that it is being measured by the last time a similar event took place.

Take note of what the last event like this was--a huge run up in stock price in 1933. We have experienced stock declines like 1929 and now a rebound like 1933. If that doesn''t bother you, then party like its the 1930''s.

But if something makes you uneasy, then pull your money out of the stock market this time around and leave the greater fools holding the bag. It''s the calm before the storm.

wherenextnow: Doesn''t have to veto a thing when Pelosi and crew roll over and pass everything sent their way. From funding the war, which they claimed if they ever took control of Congress they would get us out of, to this bailout that even they knew would not solve the problem. Democrats have been standing hand in hand with Republicans, giving out taxpayers money, with little regard to the peoples wishes or needs.

Thank you Democratic Party for not letting us drill for oil the unemployment RATE is 6.7%.

Socialist democrats, along with quite a few republicans who understood the greater implications, saved us all from a fate worse than death. As long as there''s some accountability, which it sounds like they got, I''m not against the bailout.

The UI rate is 6.7% - do you know how it''s calculated and what it takes to get off of it? (When your 6 months of collecting unemployment insurance is up, you''re not a statistic anymore - job assistance people I know would estimate the unemployment rate closer to 12%. They''ve also suggested which fields are strong, which also includes IT despite factors like offshoring so there IS a future.)

I hope Obama is sincere about opening up drilling. For short term issues, we need it. DOZENS of alternative energy sources and forms of transit have been mentioned; by the time they are commonplace we won''t need to drill nearly as much oil. Unless you''re happy at $3/gl oil, and most SUV owners didn''t need to get their 3GPM machines at inflated prices either...

Carter''''''''''''''''s policies didn''''''''''''''''t work then and they will not work now. We need to drill for our own resources NOW. This mantra of nothing getting to the pumps for over ten years is a sham. We know that is a lie and those that keep saying it just continue to lose credibility.

We need to stop seeding our money to people like Chavez and we need to do it now. Drill for our own energy sources NOW. Develop alternatives but drill now for the energy we know we have.

Obama = Carter

AGAIN. Here is a little reminder of the CARTER years:

Our Embassy overrun in Iran and our fellow American citizens being held hostage for 444 days (for the young-uns that is how the nightly news magazine "NIGHTLINE" got started)

21% Mortgage Interest Rates...

18% Inflation Rate...

OVER 50% top income tax rate...

29% Capital gains rate... and no mortgage deduction!!!

55 Miles Per Hour NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT...

AND the start of NOT BEING ABLE TO DRILL FOR OUR OWN OIL!!!

OBAMA the "SOCIALIST" in 08 for the 2nd CARTER TERM!!!

Thank you Democratic Party for not letting us drill for oil the unemployment RATE is 6.7%.
Thank you Democratic Party for the great job you have done in Northeastern Ohio, 35 years ,mainly Mahoning County, all that open area now is great for the environmentalist, what used to be Steel Plants, pipe plants, industrial area, what a great use of the EPA. Also big spots of were homes used to be. Thank you Again Eco-Liberal Democrats.
