The problem with getting rid of the draft is that a lot of losers stay losers cause they never learn discipline or how to work together or how to follow a leader.

You guys trashed the country with your "let us hate Bush party" over the last 8 years.

Bush did not at the party. He was busy trying to get something done while you trashers were getting in his way and stabbing him in the back and sabotaging his efforts at every turn.

LOL!! YOU DID IT TO YOURSELVES! LOL!!

All you idiots who voted for Bush and his form of government (i.e., no governing at all!), take a look at your IRAs, 401Ks, CDs, etc...watch them all turn to dust before your eyes. Instead of working for the good of the American public, all he was focused on was making WAR..WAR,,and more WAR!... No oversight on his watch. Greed was the name of the game. And now, all the Bush lovers want and older dumber version in power.. Haven''t you learned anything? We need some smarts in power. Not greedy neoconservative thinking. Don''t make the same mistake again if you don''t want to be in poverty. G-D@mn Bush caused all this, in one way or another.

Listen, you stupid smucks. You really believe the financial crisis is owned by the Republicans OR Democrats? They''re both responsible, along with you..

That''s right, the people in this country are to blame for letting Congress get away with legalizing bribery. All together now, can you say lobbying, folks? The amazing thing about all this is that the criminal code books of every state have sections describing this kind of behavior as felony offenses. No problem, they rewrite their own codes of behavior so that it%u2019s impossible to even prosecute them.

When ''Big business'' wants to remove those pesky regulations that stifle theft, corruption, and greed, no problem! Companies want to move their entire manufacturing capabilities overseas and get tax breaks while they do it, no problem! Any idiot (or Senator) should be able to instinctively understand that when you shift eighty percent of your heavy manufacturing jobs to other countries your in for a tough road ahead, but no, we continue to listen to distinguished looking white-haired guys in silk suits tell you it''s going to BENEFIT you in the long run! As in, ''take the money and RUN! Ultimately, the biggest problem this country faces in the future isn''t financial, it has and always will be reform in Washington.

C''mon, keep up your hating and negativity and destructiveness - you can bring it down - try harder! It''s still standing.

John McCain and George W. Bush%u2019s Republican party exists solely for the betterment of corporations and the wealthy (look how they govern!), but they sucker the white lower middle-class into voting against their own economic interests by throwing divisive wedge issues at them that appeal to their basest instincts: racist, homophobic, etc, while hiding behind fake religious piety. When it works, it works, and when it does not the GOP just tries to outright steal elections through bogus voter purges, and voting machine manipulation. The GOP deceptively distracts working-class whites with the southern strategy while at the same time destroying their economic future by governing exclusively for the top 1%.

This is not a party issue. 1929 was not a party issue. It''s an economic issue started by Carter, and fueled by NAFTA type of thinking, and based on greed. America''s main product is drinking Starbucks from a BMW while chatting to their brokers about our wonderful "service economy", what an unbelievable fantasy this is a economy. 30% workers depend on Wall Street, and 50% workers depend on the government for their jobs. That leaves 20% to do actual "work"

Now I''d like to know if the economy is "fundamentally strong" like John McCain said two weeks ago or not. It''s not looking too strong to me (and probably 95% of the rest of America), but I''m sure that to McCain and his wealthy campaign backers and big-business friends everything is looking just fine.

On the bright side, the Baghdad stockmarket is doing great because we''ve sent so much of our tax money over there to rebuild their country. So what if grandmas 401K tanked...at least Halliburton is making lots of money in Iraq.

Come on, life in the country club. Look what they did to Martha just for listening to her financial advisors advice. I want them on a chain gang cleaning up America a block at a time. We just might get an honest days work out of them for the first time in their lives. Heck, they might just have to develop blisters and callouses. Work and blisters and callouses, OH MY!
