I do not care which side you favor----BUT today banks do not always hold your home loan. It is sold to secondary markets and pooled with thousands of other loans and packaged into complex securities. Some get special tax credits etc. If you are looking for a loan modifications it is not going to be a easy because each party has to agree on the conditions. This will be along time in the "FIX"

[If you are a low income worker you should not be buying on credit, there is to much chance you will default. People are not entitled to cars, if you cannot afford one take the bus]

but those selling ''stuff'' want those to have credit so they can sell their stuff. cars, houses, furniture, whatever.

how is the economy going to ''grow'' if you don''t have people living beyond their means?

why should these poor low income individuals live their life any different than how our government is run ... in deficit?

...Which version of the United States constitution is the president referring to? Historically, State ownership of Banks has never come out good. Try Germany in 1938 for example....

Wow, you definitey win the Willful Ignorance award.

You rant about some non-existent Amrxist plot, cite a right-wig nutjob''s blog as your source, and totally ignore the context of the article you''re commenting on. Good ol'' Republican ignorance.

Since you didn''t read this article before cut-and-pasting Hannity''s talking points, let me explain it to you.

Republicans are actively redistributing taxpayer wealth to their big donors via bank buyouts and tax loopholes.

That''s pure corporate socialism.

McSame and Caribou Barbie are corporate socialists.

Not a bad idea, probably, but to restore confidence, I am hearing more from people about having the crooked ones give back the money - just like how most thieves are supposed to do. Would that not restore even a small amount of confidence back into the market?
