There is very little I trust any longer about America and Americans. As a small biz owner in this country, I spend a great % of my time TRYING to get my American clients...both large and small...to pay their bills. (This is not the case with my European clients.) I don''t care what Dodd, et al do about Wall Street. Here on Main Street, Americans are no better than the big boys at the top of corporations. And it''s unlikely Dodd, Frank, Schumer, Obama or McCain will bail someone like me out, b/c they back the crooked Americans on Main Street. A pox on the lot.

hyperinflation coming at ya!!
Posted by Hacker11001 at 05:59 PM : Sep 25, 2008

Hyperinflation would SHRINK THE VALUE OF THE NATIONAL DEBT, so when it''s paid back in future years, it''ll be paid off with DIMES ON THE DOLLAR.

Remember when we were the world''s creditor nation? That was BEFORE the hyperinflation of the 1970''s.

Then when the foreign nations paid back their debt, they paid dimes on the dollar, because the dollar was worth ONE TENTH what it was when we loaned the money out.

You could buy a Buick or and Oldsmobile for $3,000 in those days. What does an equivalent car cost now? That tells you how the value of the dollar has changed.

What do you buy for $3,000 today? A really nice couch or a big TV?

So the world borrowed Buicks from us, and they paid us back with a TV set for a Buick. What a deal!

NOW WE CAN PLAY THE SAME GAME.

I''''ve said all alone that the democrats started this mess and Bush was too weak to do anything or too dumb to do it. I blame both parties equal. You liberals need to get your act together on this one.

Clinton is caught red-handed this time. They can''t escape, and they know it. Look at them squirming and foaming at the mouth about "veto proof." LOL!

Bill C. did not one thing wromg. You IDIOT. This is all greed by wall street
Posted by Upto1947 at 05:51 PM : Sep 25, 2008

Look who''s calling someone ELSE an IDIOT.

All that greed wouldn''t have been possible without the 1999 Gramm-Leach-Bliley act that was SIGNED BY BILL CLINTON. He could have vetoed it, but he didn''t. So what if he veto was overridden, he''d be on record as being against it.

Now he''s AS DIRTY AS GRAMM, LEACH, AND BLILEY.

BUSH IS TO BLAME
AND CLINTON IS TO BLAME
AND BUSH IS TO BLAME
AND CLINTON IS TO BLAME
AND BUSH IS TO BLAME
AND CLINTON IS TO BLAME
AND BUSH IS TO BLAME
AND CLINTON IS TO BLAME
AND BUSH IS TO BLAME
