trickle down economics does not work..

One of the 1st things Bush did in his presidency is give the welahty and corproations tax breaks with the belief it would strengthen out econmy.

Here we are almost 8 years later... Does anyone believe it worked ???? Where are all those newly added high paying jobs ??? why is the economy in a huge tailspin ????

"more than 10 percent of Americans are unemployed, discouraged from seeking work or underemployed. That is a nearly 25-percent increase from one year earlier."

I think, in these difficult times, its more important that we bail out banks and other financial institutions and give $30 billion in low interest loans to our auto companies. Clearly, some institutions in America are ''too big to fail'', and the unemployed aren''t one of them. Those people should just ''get a job''.

Ya don''t say?

Wallstreet / Coprorate / Wealthy greed have consumed much of what made America great. Now with the majority of people enjoying a considerably smaller portion of the pie the people are getting very angry, and are losing patience.

Workers are now forced to pay more and more into their healthcare, they are being denied stable pension plans, they are watching their wage increases lag behind inflation, and their watching the prices of everything slip beyond their means.

If this country does not wisen up there is going to be increasing violence, theft and hate...

"This Labor Day finds workers in worse shape than they''ve been in years, according to a scorecard released Monday by Rutgers University. "

The Republican solution--give more money to Billionaires and Corporate Fat Cats. It will trickle down on your heads.
