susi: "I have had a Gold Crown Card for years. I just threw it in the trash. I will be boycotting Hallmark stores and encourage my friends to do the same."

Why? You dislike people being in love or you think everyone should see things in your narrow way maybe? What a shame.

I hope Hallmark has plenty of homosexual clientele.
They just lost 90% of their business.

"Amazing. Hallmark makes gay greeting cards to cater to a viable business segment - after all gay marriage is legal in two states now - and the bible beaters show up in droves here and act like this is somehow related to THEM."

That is a good point! This is about a victory for America and freedoms and a time for celebration. All the bible beaters could add is that they tried to stop this and lost... the christians are an increasingly irrelevant and marginalized faction, and let us all thank god for that.

Christians dont (well they shouldnt) hate homosexuals. They hate the sin and when a company accepts what we consider sin based on the Bible then thats what upsets us. Im not here to spread hate or talk dopwn to anyone, but its simply voicing an opinion. Yet, it seems when we voice something it get shot down but others can say whatever they want and its truth. Not a sermon, just a thought.

You are correct. You should always be entitled to your opinion, especially on religious matters. That is your private personal beliefe and it is protected.
The problem arises when you try to force those beliefs on others through legislation.

Jehova''s Witnesses believe it is a sin to receive a blood transfusion. I imagine if they were picketing hospitals that perfomed transfusions, and trying to get legislation passes to make them illegal, then you would fight against that law and be very angry with the group putting your family at risk by making blood transfusions unavailable.

Personal religious opinions are one thing, laws are another.

Amazing. Hallmark makes gay greeting cards to cater to a viable business segment - after all gay marriage is legal in two states now - and the bible beaters show up in droves here and act like this is somehow related to THEM. Of course it isn''''''''t, but is it not amazing that they somehow think that it is?

Very well. I am not a christian, I am agnostic. I am gay. What makes you think your particular brand of religion can or should have any influence on my purchasing or business decisions with Hallmark?

I thought as a Christian, you follow the teachings of Christ, not the teachings of whoever was around during the time of Levitcus. I would love you to point me to a passage in the Gospels where Jesus states that it''s OK to HATE anyone or anything for any reason.

Liberals are tolerant of everyone but Christians. Their quick to stick up for everyone else but when a Christian says something they must be silenced! Welcome to liberal America
