The latest information is that the left''''s argument that it will take 10 years to bring new gas to the market even if we removed the government''''s obstructions to domestic shources has just shown to be a totally politically motivated lie; it will take approximately 1 year to bring on line sources that were "plugged" by the government decades ago.

Why is it that the left always tries to manufacture facts to support the conclusion they want out of thin are, with no effort to prove it?

God Bless you loyal listener and ditto-head@!!@ You are correct, there is no future for America without oil. And once it runs out, the tax payer will be forced to subsidize space craft to explore deep space for more oil. Once we locate the mother load on Pluto, for instance, we can bring it back here, on the tax payers dime and burn it like a fine Cuban Cigar!!!

Do not believe the LIB!!! LIE!!!! that we can harness the Sun, it is just tooo farr away!! And wind power is for wimps...METROSEXUALSS!!! Burning crude oil is what men DO!!!

LIBZ!!!

The stock market went up because of bargain hunters, and because the price of crude oil has DROPPED OVER $10 IN TWO DAYS because speculators are afraid that with the rapidly deteriorating economy, people won''t be able to afford gasoline anymore.

If Obama doesn''t win the election he can go to work for the circus; he has thrown more of his friends and associates under the bus than anyone else alive!

The Baby Boomer or "Me" generation consumed too much booze plus too much ***, drugs and rock n roll. This caused genetic damage to their Y chromosomes and thus they created the Y generation.

The Y or "Why me?" generation became fat and lazy and became preoccupied with video games, rap music and My Space. They failed to get enough sunshine or exercise and consumed too many sugary drinks. They became stupid since most of their teachers were burned out hippies plus they suffered from genetic damage.

The Fed secretly pumped a lot of money into the Stock Market today. They''re trying to prop up banks. They''re going to start falling like a house of cards within the next 60 days. Print more money...or better yet, electronically transfer some hollow numbers. Now, why wouldn''t you believe your President?

I have for some time held the view that the generation that gave birth to the boomers has hated them for 40 years. But it internalized that hatred and let it slowly grow up and infect conservatism first, and the Republican Party second. It''s primary goal, all along, has been to deny Boomers their Social Security payments in their declining years, the SAME payments the boomers have faithfully been making to this older generation. So: Debt, Outsourcing, deregulation, the catastrophy known as Bush, and on and on. Boomers once said: ''dont trust anyone over 30''. They were talking about you, txgrouch, and they were spot-on accurate.

Your generation is evil. It has been all along.

FALLING US DOLLAR = HIGH GAS PRICES

year 2000 $1 = 1.08 EURO = $1.45 gas
year 2008 $1 = .64 EURO = $4.05 gas

year 2000 US Debt $5 TRILLION
year 2008 US debt $9.7 TRILLION

Experts give McCain only a 50/50 chance of carrying his home state of Arizona.

"Consumer prices shot up in June at the second-fastest pace in 26 years with two-thirds of the surge blamed on soaring energy prices."

And 2/3 of the blame for the energy prices we''re experiencing can be laid at Bush''s feet for his misguided policies....

Exactly. I''m glad that you FINALLY see that congress doesn''t have enough dems to override a presidential veto.

THAT is why nothing is getting accomplished.

All that will change once president Obama moves into the oval office, with an 80% majority in the house AND the senate. Then you''ll see something get accomplished!!

Here''s a question for you Republicans.

When Republican Betty Ford sacrificed her breastesis by masectomy for the sake of a pollution based economy how come you didn''t cry for alternative energy.

Or when your beloved Nancy Reagan sacrificed her breastesis for the sake of the economy, again no outrage from you Republicans.

Forget about the caribou for a moment, how about women''s breastesis.

Oh, and for those of you that say that "hey democrats controlled congress for the last two years!" ... well, lets look at those numbers shall we?

Senate:
49 republicans
49 democratics
2 independents
tiebreaking vote: republican vice president.

House:
200 Republicans
235 Democratics
288 amount of votes needed for republican presidential veto override.

I dont agree lib. All Bush had to do is make a 10 minute speech about drilling for our own oil and the cost dropped $9 a barell? Just think what will happen when your lib congress is made to comply.

And you think that it was because announce his intentions is what brought oil prices down today...HAAHAHA

Don''t make laugh...that'' like one of the most stupidest thing I''ve heard.

So what are you going to say when OPEC looks over today''s inventory reports and say "oops looks like we better cut back production so prices can rise again."

You don''t have a clue about economics and neither does Hillary Clinton because if she didn''t vote for this failed war policy in Iraq then our economy wouldn''t have blown out like it has.

Learn Austrian economics first instead of this Keysian garbage you learned in college before you post!

Thanks republicans! In addition to endless war, you''ve also destroyed our economy. Congratulations!

Oh, and for those of you that say that "hey democrats controlled congress for the last two years!" ... well, lets look at those numbers shall we?

49 republicans
49 democratics
2 independents
tiebreaking vote: republican vice president.

House:
200 Republicans
235 Democratics
288 amount of votes needed for republican presidential veto override.

So, quite literally, anything the democrats get passed through congress is vetoed by president bush. Bush and the republicans can''t stand to see someone else succeed where they failed. If they can''t win, nobody will. It''s called a scorched earth policy.

No, the war, the collapse the American economy, the prevalance of ignorance and ambivalence about climate change, all of this blame lands squarely in the lap of the party that has near total domination for eight years - the republicans. You really screwed up big time guys. You''ve got to go.
