- WITH $4.00 GAS WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD PAY $4-$5 FOR A CUP OF COFFEE? I''VE NEVER BEEN IN A STARBUCKS AND NEVER WILL.

- StarBucks Coffee expanded way to quickly and I am glad that 600 stors are closing. I like local coffee shops more anyway most of the time.

Not to disagree, but no job is said to be safe anymore and with offshoring, it''s possible everyone will be affected at some point. Which is sad, as we''re told not to go into debt, pay tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars for jobs... that go offshore. Reality is that it''s not a good market to be in right now. - Reply to this comment
- If they are waiting for my money, they can close ''''em all.

Actually, they don''t even want your attitude in their store. Do us all a favor and stay away. - Reply to this comment
- Most people I know like Tim Horton''s coffee. I am just thankful that I don''t have that "addiction".

- Starbucks serves quality drinks and the price is appropriate when you consider the ingredients and the fact that they provide access to healthcare for their employees. My wife and I enjoy a Venti everyday and will continue to do so regardless of the charge. We are also pleased with the calibre of employee. If you don''t like the price, go to 711 and hang out with the illegal aliens and the homeless.

- Starbucks was pricey and their cappucinos were just too toxic for me! Thousands of cappucino drinkers will see their esophogus relieved!

- "Its about time. I am fed up from the years of paying over USD5 for a cuppaccino and getting and mug full of milk which is slightly flavoured with coffee from this organisation. Their cookies and cakes are also way overpriced." Posted by piperpeter

So, how often did you go there over the years and why did you keep returning if you thought their product was overpriced? - Reply to this comment
- Starbuck''s made a real mistake targeting young, college types for customers. A smart move would be to advertise for middle-age blue collar workers. A drop-in coffee house appeals to the average taste.

- Its about time. I am fed up from the years of paying over USD5 for a cuppaccino and getting and mug full of milk which is slightly flavoured with coffee from this organisation. Their cookies and cakes are also way overpriced. They have taken advantage of the cheap labour over the years and have been recording indecent profits when the going was good but now that they are falling on hard times their employees will suffer again.

- The people who buy starbucks coffee also buy bottled city water because their city water at home isn''t as good as bottled city water.
