[Obama, The Empty Suit, math quiz:
1. Drilling in Alaska will only reduce gas by 3 cents per gallon.
2. Repealing the federal gas tax will only lower the price of gas by 20 cents.
3. Offshore drilling will only lower the price by 8 cents.
4. Drilling in the Rockies will only lower gas by 5 cents a gallon
5. Building more nuke plants will only lower gas by 10 cents per gallon.
Thats 46 cents per gallon. Sounds good to me! Not good to the empty suit obama]

gee mr. von_math_genius, how much will it cost (in investment) to get your $0.46 cent savings? and how long will it take for that savings to make it''s way to you? what''s the downside to your mathematical approach toward energy resource mitigation?

how much room do you have remaining in your suit?

von_marko,

I%u2019m voting Democrat because we have more oil underground in the USA then in all the Muslim countries combined. If McCain wins and begins drilling and building Nuke plants, the speculators will see that America is on a path to independence, the markets will dump oil futures and the price will drop.
Just Look at Brazil! 100%energy independent. Offshore drilling with ethanol production and Brazil imports ZERO muslim oil!!!!

We can%u2019t let that happen here. Vote Obama 2008 and do your part to keep us dependant on foreign oil!!
Obama Akbar!!

From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." %u2013 Barrack Obama

OBAMA FIX FOR HIGH GAS PRICES:
1. NO deep sea drilling
2. No reduction in the federal gas tax (20 cents per gallon)
3. No Arctic drilling
4. No Rocky Mountain drilling

Analyst estimate that the proven reserves in the Rocky Mountains, Deep Sea US Territory, North Dakota and Alaska are GREATER than ALL MUSLIM COUNTRIES COMBINED!!

OBAMA solution?? Ala Akbar - NO drilling!

GOP Rep. John Peterson%u2019s latest bid to lift domestic offshore drilling restrictions, was killed recently by the Democrat House Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior and the Environment. It was a straight, party line vote.

ONCE AGAIN!
1. The oil companies HAVE millions of leased acres the could be drilling.
2. Starting to drill now won''t yield results for many years.
3. The amount that could be extracted won''t make more than $.05 cent diffence.

We must get off of fossil fuels ASAP.

There ARE already proven technolgies.

Wow...now if we could just get you and the GOP to put forth that sort of intelligence and effort to get us out of this oil fix, however all I ever hear is we need to drill more.

Since the Dems control Congress, I assume any new legislation would come from them. What is their solution?

I think we''re all tired of hearing about the daily increase in oil prices. Most of us have stopped listening. Please find something interesting to print for a change. BTW...what''s Hulk Hogan up to?

If your IGNORANT enough to not know that the current House of Representatives and Senate are controlled by the democrats, then you don''''t even know enough about politics to deserve to have an opinion.

Like not one peep out of those "fiscal conservatives" as the Darth Bushit regime added trillions to our national debt.

Repugs are cowards, just like Bushit and Darth.

Democrats do not have the numbers to push through an agenda given their very small majorities in both houses. Many southern democrats tend to vote the conservative line.
