Sounds like a good idea. Maybe the U.S. government should do the same.

Yet another non-story dredged up by CBS solely for the purpose of feeding more red meat to the far-left moonbats. Have at it, guys and girls!

Amazing how far gone some are never to recover. Nazi''s are uncovered to this day. Some of them actually express some degree of shame, excuse or regret--or do they?

The two things are equally embarassing. I`m also a Muslim but I don`t support such a strong orientation toward the religion.

He is right, yes, Malaysia doesn`t need this "blood" money. However, Malaysia sees a growing Islamization, gwowing fundamentalism and growing political Islam which already is very embarassing.

Yeah, maybe, but it''s less embarrassing than having a superpower engaging in incarceration for years without trial or legal representation, engaging in torture, supporting state terrorism (in the form of Israel) and dis-engaging in multilateralism. Only someone like Bush would have the b-al-ls to go to the Middle East and lecture them on democracy and human rights, as he''s doing right now.

jn122736 -- Why are you calling it a ''Fiasco''? -- The private interests that are profiting from all this confusion, and for whom it was engineered, are perfectly happy with how things are evolving. -- All according to plan. -- The rest of us are merely bystanders. -- Do the research.

Why is anything coming down on America?? -- It is a matter of public record that Halliburton is actually owned by the United Arab Emirates. -- Why dont they get angry with THEM???? -- We are just players.

marizara;

The blood-money referred to, comes from the Bush administration%u2019s Iraq fiasco.

As General Powell so accurately warned us,%u201D%u201D we broke it, we own it%u201D%u201D.

And yet this criminal enterprise rolls on. No one has the power to stop it.

Actually, that is not true.

The people (voters) have the power to stop this or any administration. We the people took the proper course in 2006 by removing the control of power from the republican controlled congress. We were betrayed/let down by Pelosi and Reid.

Pelosi prevented impeachment by not allowing the process to even be debated or voted on.

Reid failed miserable to effectively end the Iraq fiasco through withholding funds.

He managed to get restrictive legislation passed and, as expected, Bush vetoed it.

Reid capitulated to the republican filibuster of the ensuing veto override attempt, and passed new legislation allocating the funds that Bush demanded.

He should have left the issue on bush%u2019s shoulders for vetoing/refusing the original funding bill.

We the people must now demand the removal of Pelosi and Reid as leaders of the house and senate.
Perhaps then the other representatives will get the message that the people have spoken.

Congress gave Bush the power/permission to use force against Saddam and congress has the power to withdraw that permission.

Congress never actually declared war on Iraq or anyone else and that should be the ONLY criteria actually activating the president war powers act.

No, I based my comment on Mahathir Mohamad on facts, not any kind of agenda (and you should know that I''m anti-GW Bush, anti-Iraq war and most definitely anti-neo-con).

While it could be argued that Mahathir Mohamad made Malaysia what it is today, if you look past the thin veneer of his "greatness", you''ll soon see what kind of a man he really is.

I strongly suggest you do some reading about Anwar Ibrahim and the allegations against him made by Mahathir Mohamad.

Perhaps then you''ll understand why I called Mahathir Mohamad scum.

If they make Cheney made, he mat direct Bush to attack and then grant Haliburtan a no bid contract to rebuild your country. Either way it sounds like they are coming to your country, like it or not.

cdfoxtrot is absolutely right. What we need now is courage to not only stop the likes of Bush-Cheney and Halliburton, but to bring them before the appropriate courts. Anything less is a betrayal of civilised humanity.

I''m sure that Haliburton made a few contributions to the current regime. Shooter exempts them from US business laws.
