Had the Congress listen to the President 7 years ago, we would have more Refineries, we would be drilling for more domestic oil, but the Libs an some Repubs figure its better that the Enviroment is more important than we having cheaper gas. Remember folks, thems that are in Control an have the Power, meaning the COngress, can readily afford the prices. So much for them wanting to feel my pain. I say throw them all out an put term limits on them, so maybe then they will finally do something for this country. Why is all the other countries drilling for oil an we sit by an pay them for doing it. Get real people.

This is exactly what the neocons bush, cheney, rice, etc. wanted. We shouldn''t be surprised, we voted in the oil companies in 2000, let them set the energy policy, and let them start wars for oil using our troops as cannon fodder. And paid for by us the taxpayers.

Analysts are predicting $200 per barrel oil in the next 6 months to 2 years. Oil has quadrupled in price over the last 6 years with two oil guys in the White House. Coincidence? I think not...
