[North Korea reactor is shut thanks to Bush, Syria withdrew from Lebanon thanks to Bush,Bin Laden had to hide in a cave to escape and his al-qaeda is defeated in Iraq and elsewhere thanks to Bush, Iran renounced its nuclear weapons program thanks to Bush, we havent been attacked for 7 years thanks to Bush, Hezbollah was wiped off the Israeli border thanks to Bush. Do you wanna read more successful policies?]

wow. korea exported their technology to syria ... hezbollah has just taken control of sections of lebanon ... al qaeda has not been one bit dimished ... if anything there''s more recruits for the execution of it''s ideology ... iran is more hardline and dangerous in the middle east than ever ... thousands of american soldiers have been killed ... untold numbers will suffer lifelong symptoms from the abuse levied upon them from all the draft deffered republicans and their policies ... it was eight years between 1993 and 2001 w/ no attacks in the us ... hamas is now the ruling party on the border w/ israel and sends rockets of greeting daily.

let''s hear the other successes ... are you satire/comedy writer?

Oil will keep its value.

Thanks to the Reagan/Bush debt (which international finance has belatedly realized Republicans don''t really intend to ever pay down), the DOLLAR will NOT keep its value.

Hence, oil (denominated in dollars) goes up. And Americans become second-class citizens, because they get paid in dollars, rather than oil. It''s simple, really. And the necons intended it all along.

you should seriously consider taking a dose of your own medicine. you spew total untruths ... and when confronted w/ this fact ... you conveniently ignore it ... a text book case of authoritarianism.

you keep repeating that the democrats are responsible for various issues but have no explanation for why these issues have not been addressed by the current regime for the years 2000 - 2006.

cyberus, I am glad someone on this board understands that speculators are driving up the price of oil.

Yeah .. and it doesn''t take much research to track it down.
The intent of the futures market was noble .. but its turned into a free money machine for speculators, and since there is no real *regulation* shady practices like circle selling to drive up prices runs rampant.

I think at minimum stock sale rules should apply to these contracts .. some time between sale, settlement, and re-sale would (IMO) slow down the surges.

There is a war going on right now, we don''t even know it. No, it''s not the Iraq war. It''s the cold war, only now it''s being waged on the economic front, against China. If you know anything about Chinese history, their goal has always been world dominance, to become the world''s sole superpower.

After the Soviets'' decline, the U.S. mistakenly thinks of itself the the world''s superpower. While this may be true militarily (even this is questionably after the Iraq debacle), the U.S. is steadily losing economically, while the Chinese economy has been growing exponentially.

What''s different about this war, though, is that the U.S. is willingly helping the Chinese win, with its naive economic policies. China WILL become the number one economic power within a few decades, and believe me, it will NOT show any largesse to the country that helped it prosper.

[I am 78 years old, I don''''t know how old you are but I have seen a lot of things in my life.]
[Posted by dmw1167 at 02:36 PM : May 10, 2008]

this explains a lot ... the dementia may have already set in.

[Before you start about Bush stealing the election look up the 1960 election of JFK, that election was stolen by Mayor John Daly and the Mafia if you don''''t believe this research it. ]

i have never said that bush stole the election ... only that the election was invalid. i suppose one wrong justifies another in your demented mind.

[bobnjersey, if you don''''t know about our coal reserves and don''''t know that there are nuclear power plants then you must have your head where the sun don''''t shine.]

once again ... as expected ... you fail to address your deluded claims that democrats are to blame for all our problems. do you have any plans to move from your current position of fantasy into the land of reality?

how are the democrats responsible for not accessing/promoting alternatives when the republicans have had ALL the power for the years 2000 - 2006? c''mon now ... shake the cobwebs from your 78 year old mind ... explain in detail how the democrats are to blame for anything at all during this time.
