- GM is going to layoff 750 workers in my area. Home Depot is shutting down a few stores resulting in 1,300 lost jobs. A shoe company is closing down-250 jobs, and a refridgerator company-200 jobs. A trucking company is laying off 60, and a small manufacturer is laying off 60. They''re not hiring, they''re firing, and that''s just the last couple of weeks. So let''s believe everything this government tells us. There''s weapons of mass destruction in Canada?
