If yu make $1000 the bank may lend you $100 as a good credit risk. If you make $1,000,000 the bank may lend you $100,000.
Despite what you LIBS think, the U.S. economy is the LARGEST in the world and has enjoyed 6 years of expansion. The world''''s countries are very willing to loan us money, because they know that our $10 trillion economy will not fail. Worry when they DON''''T lend us mney.

We need to find $60 Trillion to pay off our debts and pay for future obligations(Medicare and Social Security). Not going to happen without radical cuts.

While you are right in saying that a Fiat system is backed against Tax receipts. The problem with a total Fiat system like this, is that the government has to keep on borrowing to continue economic growth until the debt is so high that the interest payments ($500Billion a year) are unplayable which is where we are nearly at and the whole system collapses. The Government will have no choice but inflate the country out of debt, giving us Hyperinflation.

Politics is not sports. We are not supposed to pick a team and root for them regardless of how bad they are. If the Republicans abandon fiscally conservative economics, I see no reason all of a sudden to defend economic policies that I see as destructive.

This is the same LIB who believes that $2-$3 of every gallon of gas sold goes to oil executives. LOL....LOL again. Posted by mbcsmith at 03:39 PM : Apr 21, 2008

"In 2005 the price of crude oil averaged $50.23 per barrel, and crude oil accounted for about 53 percent of the cost of a gallon of regular grade gasoline"

Com''on LIBS - we were taught not to make fun of the Mentally Challenged!

Give the Smith guy a break - he''s operating on a Republican deck of cards!

Pray for the man - he''s in need of professional help!

Your Ignorance is forgiven mbcsmith - we understand that you were born a wealthy white republican protecting your money from the many people who live from day to day in need of food, gas for their cars, money to KEEP their homes and health care so their kids don''t die!

You are the type of people WE pray for every Sunday!

People who are in need of Mental HELP!

May your soul be saved in the next election.

You must be LIB. Liberal with our tax money for corporate growth: i.e. energy bill, corporate farm subsidies to convert valuable land in to corn producing ethanol.

The tax cuts that every working American has benefitted from for the past six years. Under the Bush tax cuts, 40 million working Americans NO LONGER are required to pay federal income tax. Doesn''''t fit with your moron.org talking points, does it LIB.
