- We pay more taxes per gallon of gasoline than the oil companies make as profit per gallon.
The Federal and state governments are the REAL profiteers in the oil game.

demslie never has a clue or support anything on here. So far today I have seen the following from demslie: Democrats are to blame for the poor education that inner city youth in this country are getting, democrats are to blame for the lack of oil production & refineries in America, democrats support terrorists in Iraq, democrats have attacked American social values, and democrats are the ONLY people that are interested in the environment. Interesting list....I mean, they might as well get on here and say that Republicans are gods...can do no wrong ever and they have the only "true" and valued opinions. - In the last 3 decades oil companies wanted to spend 30 billion on new refineries. They were stopped from doing that by Democrats. If they had built the refineries we would have such a large supply that gas would be a dollar a gallon.

I''ve told you before that the democrats URGED them to build new refineries, even offering to help them expedite the 10 year refinery building process (with the bureaucracy part of it) and the big oil companies said "No".
Also Valero, the nation''s LARGEST refiner voluntarily cut refinery production by 15%. When the democrats complained to Bush, they URGED him to issue an executive order FORCING them back to 100% capacity, and Bush refused saying that he didn''t believe it''s necessary.
Your constant stream of lies is getting very, very old. Why don''t you try researching the stories BEFORE you post them, instead of being proven wrong AFTER the fact?
