WERE HAVING A TEA PARTY! YOU''RE INVITED
As we all know, freedom isn''t free in this country. Therefore, in the wake of our successful fundraising event of November 5th, in which we all came together to raise $4.2 million dollars for Ron Paul''s campaign, we''ve set yet another date for an even bigger fundraiser. This one will take place on December 16th: a very important date for people who love freedom and hate tyranny to ring the Liberty Bell, and let our sold-out, globalist, political ****** and their mainstream media enablers know that good Americans are mad as hell, and that we''re not going to take it anymore. December 16th is the 224th aniversary of The Boston Tea Party: an act of protest by the American colonists against the tyranny of Great Britain where the Sons of Liberty boarded British ships and dumped crates of tea overboard into Boston Harbor. It was a key event which helped to spark the American Revolution, and we hope this event will, likewise, add additional spark to our own 21st Century political revolution to restore peace, prosperity and freedom to our Republic by helping elect a President whose record of adherance to The Constitution is unmatched by anyone in American politics. Please join us this December 16th for the largest one-day political donation event in history. Our goal is to bring together 100,000 people to donate $100 each, creating a one day donation total of $10,000,000. The time to act is now. The time for Ron Paul is NOW! TeaParty07.com

The things I bought were for practical use (ergonomic mouse and backup hard drive) I''ll shortly be buying books on Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server. DBAs and server/network administrators will still be in demand here at home.

Have faith.

Today is Black Friday, supposedly the biggest shopping day of the year. It is one of two Fridays which don''t always come on the same date, and are usually referred to by a nickname.
Anybody out there know what the other Friday''s nickname is and why?

I must go for now.

I suspect we can end this discussion by agreeing to disagree with how we feel the direction of this country is heading in.

Good evening.

I don''t disagree with you on that front. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and full control by one party of both the Executive and Legislative branches has proven that. I''m not naive, I don''t automatically assume that if we were not at war, (specifically in Iraq), that every dollar spent there would have been directed into domestic programs in the U.S. making everyones lives just fine and dandy. But there would be a point and time where if nearly 1 trillion dollars was spent on domestic programs and no real improvement in domestic issues are seen, that there wouldn''t be a whole cleaning/change of leadership of both houses of government. (And I''m not just talking a majority of a handful type of change). But sadly, that will never be proven.

WRONG! I didn''t "hate" Bush before we invaded Iraq, or even during the first few months. I hate how he has used this war in Iraq for the fulfillment of the wishes of his special interests (PNAC for starters), and has sold too many Americans on the "War on Terror" slogan. All the while, calling a $35 billion bill to increase to assist children''s health care of parents who make too much money to qualify for Medicare but not enough money to cover health care premiums for children... as being "too expensive"!

It''s the receipts that matter. Turnout was good, but retailers had to give bigger discounts. The jury''s still out.

USAYESTERDAY -- The pessimism I speak of comes from both sides. It wasnt meant to pinpoint either a Liberal or a Conservative.

Perhaps we should have took care of it the first go ''round with Bush 41? Then, there wouldnt have been
11 years of bullcrap in the U.N., No fly zones, etc....

With you though, it really doesnt matter if we invaded with 10 troops or 1 million of them. You still would not have supported the effort because of the simple reason that you hate Bush.

As far as the domestic issues are concerned, you really shouldnt use that as a basis for supporting your argument. If we werent at war, the domestic issues would not be mentioned and the money would continue to be shoveled off into their pockets behind our backs....

Anyone that can''t see America is in bad shape is in real denial. We can get back on our feet but we have to stop the continued loss of life and money in Iraq, and start paying American workers a living wage rather than off shoring or hiring illegals and abusing the H-1B visa program.

USAYesterday -- Ahhhh yes. Pessimism! We''''ve gone very far as a country from pessimists like you. HAHAHAHA.

.............

A certain president 16+ years ago had a pessimistic view of invading Iraq (after liberating Kuwait) because he knew it would be a quagmire and thousands of American soldiers would lose their lives. He did not continue the military operations and was widely criticized for it.

A certain president was optimistic over 4 years ago that we could invade Iraq and win, and invade it with less than 100,000 troops to start. Thus failing to secure the countryside and essentially allowing thousands of foreign terrorist/fighters into the country.

So your type has essentially drained our economy and skyrocketed our national debt while our infrastructure, education, health care, and many other domestic programs are in desperate need of repair and/or improvement. All the while, thousands of our own soldiers have died because of poor planning and either blind optimism or just underlying greed.

Take that into affect, along with the falling dollar and rising energy/oil/gas prices which WILL spell disaster for the American economy... definitely in the short term... and perhaps in the long term.

All thanks to you and your fellow Bush-loving "optimists".

Go ahead and give yourselves a pat on the back and yell:

"Mission Accomplished!"

This finally puts to rest the corporate lie that its about skills and not salaries as they claim.

..............

Oh, I know. It doesn''t take an engineer to figure out that American companies who have grown used to paying off-shore workers between $2 to $4 an hour (U.S. equivalent) that they would all of the sudden start paying 10 times that amount once they found a bunch of American engineering graduates at their door step.

The lie (as you said) that "...there''s not enough skilled/educated work force in America" is clearly a bunch of bull ******!

Oh, and "poopusbuttus"... do me a favor:

Please cut a hole in your cocoon in which you live, and tell me what you see. Perhaps you may need to move your cocoon outside of your gated country-club community.

I guess you don''t read... let alone read the reports on this site and the comments by many other middle class AMERICANS like me, who have faced many downward pressures on our daily lives (specifically financially related). A pessimist I am. An "alarmist" I am not. Some of my statements are in jest, but I guess I have to put a note on the end of those statements to avoid ruffling your feathers... or accidentally knocking off those rose-colored glasses you like to wear.

USAYesterday: Hey dude, I think I''ve summed you up. Your a paranoid alarmist. A doomsday scenarioist that exhibits abnormal behavior such as the paranoid schizophrenic that sits in his drape covered window taking down notes about what his neighbors are doing...

Your a simple man, a lonely man, a sad man with a contiguous dissappointing past due to the fact that none of your clairvoyent predictions about anything has ever come true.

Moreover, and perhaps this is the most important statement, no one listens to you on here.

USA will always stay strong. So please, continue to "Waller" in your own confused mental state because quite frankly, we enjoy it on here....

That''''s because you demanded more than $4 an hour for your work!

DAMNN YOU WORKING SCUM!

American workers.... enemies to the corporate elite!

:-(

The funny thing is USAyesterday, said multinational used to be bullish on India but salaries over there are skyrocketing and they figure next year will be 1:1 with an American worker. Hence the IT work going to Costa Rica. This finally puts to rest the corporate lie that its about skills and not salaries as they claim.
