In Congress, Ron Paul is not only known for his lack of ego (a rare quality in Washington), he''s widely admired for his resistance to the influence of special interest groups. Again. They don''t call him "Dr. No" for no reason. He consistanly votes against pork-barrel spending. In a rice-growing, cattle-ranching district, Dr. Paul consistently votes against farm subsidies. In the very district where, on the night of Sept. 8, 1900, a storm destroyed the city of Galveston, and where repairs from Hurricane Rita and refugees from Hurricane Katrina continue to exact their toll, he votes against FEMA and flood aid. In a district that is home to thousands of employees of the Johnson Space Center, he votes against financing NASA. Nothwithstanding this, his constituants in the 14th District of Texas continue to re-relect him. Why? You ask? I think one voter I talked to there summarized it nicely when she said, "We may not like his vote. But we trust his heart." Even Tim Delaney, the editorial-page editor of The Victoria Advocate, an influential newspaper in the district, which has generally opposed Paul for re-election, on the grounds that a lone wolf cannot get the highway and homeland-security financing the district needs, says, "Ron Paul is a very charismatic person. He has charm. He does not alter his position ever. His ideals are high. If a little old man calls up from the farm and says, I need a wheelchair, he''ll get the *** wheelchair for him." Ron Paul is a man of integrity.

RON PAUL SETS NEW GOP FUNDRAISING RECORD
Freedom is apparently popular, folks. I''m glad it is. In just 24 hours (on Nov 5, 2007), he raised over $4,200,000 in grass roots donations from his supporters nationwide, beating Mitt Romney''s previous one-day (Republican) record of 3.1 million Dollars. Do the math, folks. Ron Paul certainly isn''t getting any money from the bankers or the military industrial complex like all the sold-out NWO candidates both on the left and the right who pretend to be his equal. He''s getting support from millions of REAL people who share in his Hope For America:

-- No more meddling in other country''s political affairs
-- No more aggressive military actions overseas
-- No more pseudo-wars like the "War on Drugs"
-- No more IRS and unconstitutional income taxes
-- No more Federal Reserve (the group of private banks which owns our government)
-- No more U.N. participation
-- No more NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO or GATT
-- No more North American Union
-- No more federal gun control laws
-- No more illegal aliens pouring-in over our country''s borders
-- No more illegal aliens allowed to roam freely in our streets
-- No more federal Laws which are not authorized by The Constitution
-- No more federal erosion of State sovereignty
-- No more all-powerful federal government

They don''t call him "Dr. No" for no reason. The Doctor is in! Join us in this 21st Century political revolution at ronpaul2008.com

Remember, folks. Freedom isn''t free.

Noticed prices are higher lately? So have I. Inflation, which increases the price of everything you buy, be it a dozen eggs at the store, or the price you pay for gas at the pump, is caused when The Federal Reserve, a group of private banks run by unelected officials, who are not accountable to we the people, lowers the interest rate, notwithstanding the fact that the Dollar has been undergoing a major devaluation overseas, rather than increasing the interest rate like it should have done. That''s Economics 101, folks. Everything costs more in U.S. Dollars, because the Dollar is worth less. Because the Fed is allowed to print unbacked money out of thin air, and then loan it to the our government, which is then saddled with an interest obligation to pay it back, our money is becoming worth less and less each day, and our National debt to the Fed is approaching 10 trillion dollars. It gets worse. Most of our debt is owned by China (25%) and Saudi Arabia who buy our Treasury Bonds, which finances our runaway military spending overseas. This is a threat to our nation, folks. We need to stop this madness. We need to bring our troops home from overseas, and use the trillions we would then save thereby to reduce our debt, and to re-invigorate our currency. We can then use this money to ensure that Social Security and other essential programs will still be solvent in ten years. Vote for Ron Paul. He''s written entire books on the topic of sound economics. ronpaullibrary.org

My final comment! Iran is now the aggressor nation! Iran attempts to keep its hands clean supporting subversive terrorist groups and activities against Israel via Hezzbollah and Hamas, in addition to supplying terrorist in Iraq and now Afghanistan all the while trying to acquire a nuclear capability, maybe not to use nukes, but to use them as a shield to prevent opposition and attack to further and expand its terrorist agenda!

tbweb,,,,, Bush & his neo cons are repeating the same mistake in Pakistan by trying to bring Benazir Bhutto back into power..
... We are even going as far as supporting radical groups even a terrorist orginization on our State Dept''''s list of terrorist groups to do it..
... Their people don''''t want Bhutto back in power, she is corrupt.

J, my point in this debate is only to point out that mistakes were made on all sides, but all I see is the mistakes being blamed on the U.S. and Israel ONLY! Every other nation and group outside the U.S. and Israel is completely innocent, innocent victims whose hands are totally clean, yeah right!

J, even if the U.S. did put Saddam in place and arm him, the U.S. had no control over what he did after that point! In that case it was the U.S. responsibility to remove the problem it created. You seem to want to blame a gun merchant because a customer used the gun they purchased to commit crimes! The gun merchant has no responsibility after the sale!

We lost at least 4 planes over the "No Fly Zone" from false tartet generation by our own Patriot Missile Battries, as well as a few Allied planes.
,,,, American Right Wing funded Isreali terrorist groups, still on our State Dept''s list of terrorist orginizations to this day from 1993 & still does & they destroyed the Oslo Accord that our government & President Clinton worked hard to achieve.
