I have been living in Michigan now for just shy of 2 years...but now that I am I feel the need to be very supportive of the auto industry, I never knew how imporatant it was until we lived here. I hope this all gets settled very soon.

===At on time in our nations history there was a need for the unions, there is no NEED for them now...and hire people who are willing to do an honest days work for an honest days pay, not $35 an hour to put 5 rivets in that the next assembly line worker pops in place for thier $35 an hour.===

Tell you what. When executives stop making millions of dollars a year to sit on their a$$es in an office, then workers will stop asking for $35/hour. They should hire executives willing to put in an honest days work for an honest days pay.

A large share of my budget goes to paying off my cars which in turn helps these greedy workers with the best benefits in the country probably. I know of a few of the folks that haven''''t put in a full weeks work in quite a while and yet then clamor in for o/t! It''''s not surprising the quality of American Car companies can''''t compete with foreign ownership who keep a tighter rein on salary.

STOP ATTACKING THE WORKER. Do you have any knowledge of the fact that there are 400+ billionaires in the world whose wealth constitutes half of the annual earnings of half the world''''s population? That''''s over 3 billion human beings. Hard to comprehend but well worth trying. These elite folks like you to attack you''''re working brethren. It is the most insidious stupid thing to do but the elite sociopaths have the psychology of dividing people down to a science.

I can''t believe that you folks are so anti union for some reason you think scab labor will get you a cheaper car Toyoto is not cheap it won''t but the stock holder will get a modest improvement. Didn''t you take history in school big busness was northern slavery they just didn''t pick on blacks they picked on everyone it was horrible do some reading cause the majority of you have no idea what you talking about, one idiot claimed he never bought union products he never thumbed through a magazine watched a movie. Work at a factory is not a vacation especialy as you get older. Do you really want uneducted individuals building the car you drive your family and friens in? The working man made this country and deserves a slice of the pie. you have it your way we''ll go back to the days of Rockafella Carnegie where there is only the very rich and everybody else will be poor.

I know how to get jobs back in the USA, let the UAW go over seas. Then there cars will cost more and we can sell the GM and Ford cars here in the USA.
