LOL, I saw a lot of idiotic racist posts here.
Chinese are NOT against American, the American are against American. All these problems are generated not by Chinese, but by the America itself. So why blaming China?!? It is easy to blame others.

Republicans like this are the traitors they%u2019re the ones that pose the biggest threat to Americas constitution.

Grover Glenn Norquist (born October 19, 1956) is an American conservative activist. He currently serves as president of anti-tax lobbying group Americans for Tax Reform.

Norquist has been noted for his widely quoted quip: "I don't want to abolish government. I simply want to reduce it to the size where I can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub.

Norquist has been close friends with Abramoff since college, when he ran Abramoff%u2019s successful campaign to become national chairman of the College Republicans.

[edit] Alleged links to radical Islamists and terrorism
In 1998, Norquist founded the Islamic Free Market Institute[18] (sometimes just called the "Islamic Institute") with money from a number of sources, mainly in the Middle East. One of the early major contributors was Abdurahman Alamoudi, the founder of the American Muslim Council. Alamoudi appears to have contributed $35,000 to the Islamic Institute.[19] Alamoudi was convicted of illegal dealings with Libya, tax, and immigration violations on July 30, 2004, and was sentenced to 23 years in jail.

Norquist has been linked to Florida professor and Muslim activist Sami Al-Arian. On March 2, 2006, Al-Arian pled guilty to one count of conspiracy "to make or receive contributions of funds, goods or services to or for the benefit of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad."

9/11 Commission Ignored Firefighter's Account of Explosions Inside WTC
Schroeder's compelling testimony contradicts official story at every turn
Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Thursday, August 9, 2007

Astounding and compelling testimony from a brave 9/11 firefighter that was ignored by the 9/11 Commission has added further weight to the already overwhelming evidence that the twin towers were brought down by means of explosives.

Firefighter John Schroeder, assigned to Engine Company 10 directly across the street from the World Trade Center complex, holds back tears and describes his first-hand experience on Sept. 11th in an emotive interview with We Are Change and Loose Change.

Much of Schroeder's testimony directly contradicts the official story and the 9/11 Commission, to which he spoke but was ignored.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/august2007/090807_firefighters_account.htm

Perhaps the most important aspect of Schroeder's testimony is his recollection that there was a distinct gap between the plane striking the north tower and the elevators exploding.

I figured that Paulson and his group might mess things up when he went to China a while back. It is not very common for a Treasury Secretary to start acting like an economic diplomat.

Henry is not a diplomat he is a banker. The Chinese government does not take kindly to people trying to tell them what to do.

If people would just stop buying so many Chinese goods at Walmart and our government would quit borrowing so much from them, the deficit would go down quickly.

Greed and discount of humanity.

Our only reason for trade with China in the past.

Although since Bush and henchmen, now including the Democratic Party, did away with the rule of law in this land maybe we're trading with them now because we're just a gnats hair away from becoming exactly like them.

In any case, I've been advocating a ten year economic disengagement plan from China to my representatives for over two decades.

But, evidently, greed and inhumanity won out.

And our insane support of one of our true, and most dangerous, enemies by effectively giving masses of our wealth to them to be used against us, and their own people, started long ago and has survived both Republican and Democratic administrations.

Fellow citizens, there is only one way to stop the madness, anarchy, and inhumanity that has become the U.S. government. We must register as Independent voters, and call our Senators and Representatives urging them to do the same, telling them we will never again support the Republican and Democratic parties who have knowingly, and with great foresight, brought our nation to the brink of destruction.

"A Future of the Brave" has not changed, but the world I warned of is crystallizing before our eyes. And I am only one of the most insignificant of many who have been warning you, most for much longer.

America is rushing headlong into the abyss of tyranny and torment, partying all the way down.

I beg you, stop it, now.

If they want to dump a trillion in Fed fodder on the market, then do it! DO IT!!

Posted by Prinzowhales

exactly my opinion too - and I don't think it's a question of defaulting - because the T-notes are traded around the world (and they're not redeemable "at sight"), the effect would be that their trading prices would plummet, but not become worthless - confidence would be a problem, but helll we've done 1929!

What we should do is take back our currency from the "FED", which although is sounds official, it isn't - just a big private bank controlling our every breath and step.... destroy it!

What is this "we" nonsense? I don't owe China squat...no one that I know owes them a 'red' cent. If they want to dump a trillion in Fed fodder on the market, then do it! DO IT!!

It is time to free ourselves from the hocus-pocus of the international banking and financial establishment, whose rigged forex markets and 'free trade' hokum; whose IMF and World Bank shake down artists, are part and parcel of a world pilfering elitist establishment that exists for no other reason than to serve them. Devil take them! Devil take their reems of paper debt! Devil take their servants in government! Devil take them all!

Just find David Rockefellar's eulogistic praise of that bloodthirsty swine--Chairman Mao--and you'll see the symbiotic relationship between Rockefellarian Capitalism and Maoist Communism.

Thanks, Bush supporters. you are real patriots. Thanks. Go look in the mirror and congratulate yourselves.

This is China. They are ruthless, tough, and hate America. And Bush's Treasury Secretary goes there every year and licks their dirty bits like a slave. He humiliates our country and our people, and sells us out to our enemies, both now and previously as a member of the hate group "Goldman Sachs", that New york group that makes billions stealing American manufacturing technologies and giving them to countries like China.

Can you imagine that the government of the United States actively gave our cash and technology to a foreign country that is now threatening us with a "nuclear" financial option, andoption given to them by Bush and Clinton over the dead bodies of so many American workers? We MUST make a stand, if only for our pride. We MUST see that these traitors are not rewarded, that their wealth becomes a bitter, poison pill, and they choke on it.

We need a zero tolerance policy for trade traitors, enforced without hesitation or mercy.

I will not knowingly buy from China after this threat, we have our own Nuclear Option as we are still a large portion of their customer base. This is a massive threat to the American People and our freedom, too much money tied up in those 401 K and equity markets if China pulls the trigger the estimates are that 40 percent of the values will be lost, boomers would be unable to retire and start pulling their moneys they will be the group impacted and it will be severe. Of course look on the bright side for the market and the corporate interest and their minions, the boomers will need to stay in the work force for pennies so the corporation win again, younger employees wages will stay low because the companies have experienced competition, and the boomer tax base will keep on paying.

America's economy is suffering because our government is being controlled by the corporate lobby. As they say, the fox guards the hen house. These industries write our current law: Banking industry/Bankruptcy Laws, Pharmaceutical industry/Prescription Drug Plan & Oil industry/Energy Policy. With this sort of greed & corruption, we are screwed before we even open an eye. And, sadly, most Americans are an under-educated, apathetic lot. Who cares how many nickels Juan Valdez gets paid to grow coffee beans? We just want our Starbucks piping hot with extra cream. Although the American economy IS suffering, Americans are partially responsible for supporting this sort of unethical corporate behavior. Where is the OUTRAGE? Do citizens even know enough to be OUTRAGED? Yes, Americans, on the short-term, benefit from the exploitation of global "slave" labor as WE are the ones who continue to buy this cheap Chinese crapola at our local Wal-Marts. Of course, we don't care where it comes from or if an underfed, 7 year-old makes it for us, as long as it's dirt cheap. TRUTH: Americans are disconnected from our responsibility in the exploitation of foreign labor. Our economic votes have been cast & we will have to live with the devastating consequences of our foolishness. BOTTOMLINE: Corporations simply DO NOT CARE about OUR COUNTRY. They care about PROFIT. It is a global economy, not a national one.

we need to place an embargo on all chinese goods. It will put a dent i the Us economy for a while but once the dollar falls more alot of other countries will buy them up. Once they buy more dollars it will be in thier economic interest to shut China out of their markets as well and open up to the US.
In the short term our dollar will fall, but then it will gain strength and the Chinese currency will fall even more as others stop doing business with them.
We in america may not be able to buy that third car, or take that second vacation next year, but the chinese will be back to starving.

President bush
During a state of emergency, the government can restrict the freedom to move, rally, engage in political activities or form groups and impose other limits such as restricting congress right to make laws or even dissolving congress
``These are only unconfirmed reports although the possibility of imposition of emergency cannot be ruled out and has recently been talked about and discussed, keeping in mind some external and internal threats and the law and order situation, bush told The Associated Press.
``I cannot say that it will be tonight, tomorrow or later. We hope that it does not happen. But we are going through difficult circumstances so the possibility of an emergency cannot be ruled out,'' he added.

so all you so called americans that keeps saying dont worrie, you better start now. alot of us have been saying this would happen before they electtion....so bend over and take it right up the a/s/s/. thanks congress, welcome to the u.s. of china..................................

I do not believe that China has thought this threat through -- "retro" cold war strategy. There is yet another component which was once termed mutually assured destruction -- calling in the trillion dollar debt would leave as the best U.S. option to default. The immediate effect would be a severe devaluation of the dollar, however, the impact on China would be devastating. Not only would they lose in the obvious financial terms but goods would begin piling up at docks and warehouses across their country and this right before the Olympics. The civil unrest stemming from billions of very hungry people would be unprecedented -- even the PLA would be inefective in putting it down. And what country would allow their athletes to attend the Olympics under such conditions?

The problem in which China finds itself is that in the attempt to become a world economic force they have allowed themselves to become trapped by the very market they wish to influence. In order to build their industry & exports they have allowed themselves to fall under the whims of essentially a single customer (while enabling the financing of that customer) -- hence the master becomes the slave.

If you got the cash, and he has the I.O.U. - who do think is in the stronger position?

Let's just call the federal government bankrupt,
pick up our debt for 10cents to the dollar from the chinese communists - and tell them the monopoly games is over -

we're starting a new game.

we sink the chinese (without any radiation fallout, or deaths), make the greatest deal in history, and the rock bottom dollar our exports will soar.....

But let's get back to China. China is threatening to bankrupt us but they are the ones holding the debt. They aren't going to bankrupt us, they just want to bully us into continuing to kiss their butt on devaluation and product safety.

Posted by realpatriot1 at 11:00 AM : Aug 09, 2007

China isn't going to bankrupt the US, the Republican party, with the complicity of their do nothing counterparts, the Democrats, will.

Dems and Repubs don't need China's help, they are doing a fine job without Chinese assistance.

The REAL problem and its solution is the Federal Reserve is a Private bank. Have the US government issue the currency instead of the FED. We do not pay interest. Right now we are enriching some European Bankers who create money out of nothing and then charge interest on it. It is a ridiculous hoax of a system, watch the Google video 'Money Masters' for a historical and informative 3 hours of why are we doing this? Go back to Greenbacks and remove the corruption that is breaking our economy to enrich a few families. We could have no inflation and money to spare without the 900B annually paid in interest to private parties.
