Yep - they are right on schedule for the "globification" of america and it's intent to "redistribute" wealth.... ummm well the wealth of those who are not rich and need to be in their rightful place as "lower echelons" of society -
"Capital must protect itself in every way...Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principal men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capitalism to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us except as teachers of the common herd." -- Taken from the Civil Servants' Year Book, "The Organizer" January 1934

.........

Agreed.

My realestate agent (trying to sell my little property in far Northern California), says that the realestate market is not expected to 'turn around' until sometime in 2010! Though she may be referring to this region specifically, it certainly contradicts many of the 'rosy-picture' economists who constantly say "the realestate market will recover sometime within the next year." Unfortunately, they have said that for the past two years!

Oh, FeelFree1, I see you've watched the 'Zeitgeist' movie! It was one of the most educational movies I've ever seen...

...it makes Farenheit 9/11 seem like a kindergarten curriculum!

A lesson for anyone who would ever consider themselves to be 'intelligent':

ALWAYS QUESTION EVERYTHING YOU HEAR, EVERYTHING YOU SEE, AND EVERYTHING YOU READ.

(No matter what or who the source is).

The Bushies just got another organization to broadcast their lies and suppress the truth. If Murdoch were a democrat the government wouldn't let him have any more than a shopping ads newspaper.

Wall Street Week (TV) with Louis Rookheiser was a very very good informative and savvy program.

They got rid of him when he wouldn't play ball ans smudge his clear and consise--and witty and entertaining-- brand of reporting.

Here comes more of that.

Spin, spun, spoon...

It's just going to be another package of Bush/GOP propaganda, just like fox news. Anyone who read the paper for the value they offered will hopefully be intelligent enough to realize this. Of course the rest of us are now without one more source of information, one more place the truth can be manipulated in harmony with other controled news sources. Yet America still does nothing.

xzavierbrown blurped:

wow..you should try rapping.

fascistusa is right on girl. You condummies are so wrapped up in lies and denial, that the truth has become your number one enemy. Tell me girl, since you obviously support fascism over truth, are you aware that fascism was defeated in WWII, and is already a dying breed here in the USA? But if you are one of the Southern Neocon hypocrits, I can only presume that you think that the South is the USA. Wrong girly!

the liberal branch of the entertainment/news industry pretty much have to resort using loud mouth comedians, cartoons and bare chested bimbos to attract enough attention from thier audiences. But unfortunatly, thier audiences have the attention span of a retarded gnat that they dont stick around if it does not make any farting noise.

accept the fact, the liberal media news sources are nothing more than just for ENTERTAINMENT purposes only. A nice way to seperate the moron from thier money. Maybe I should ask Moore to make another 'DOCUMENTAY' about it and THEN CHARGE YOU $12 FOR A MOVIE TICKET.

The market for liberal news/entertainment sources is dwindling...HENCE NO MONEY..

there was a CBS report not more than a month ago regarding the inbalance between liberal and conservative talk shows. on that article, it prety much indicated it the lack of QUALIFIED LIBERAL sources that is causing this problem. Honestly, if you can find a liberal talk show or a liberal tv show that does not resort to childish diversions, you tell me.

xzavierbrown wins the award for the most incoherent rant of the evening. xzavierbrown also confirms the point about working under Murdoch. The oligarch cares about neither truth nor quality, only control.

So, we shouldn't expect to see WSJ editors terrified of the Murdoch prospect-- they think much alike, and share a low standard for integrity. Back when Wolfowitz fed excerpts from the NIE to Wall Street Journal editors, they chorused innocently, "Oh, no! We are not getting this from the White House."

GOP shills, all.

what would help is getting more liberal media sources that are more credible and with more intellectual substance. Instead of putting your bet on Al Franken and all those no-talent people. Posted by xzavierbrown at 04:14 PM : Jul 31, 2007
