China is so barbaric. These are thoughtless backwards people that need to stop all their torture and abuse to animals. They do the worst things. I boycott all China Products. They disgust me.
I'm not sure if there is a way to stop ignorant people in these 3rd world countries from doing such horrific things. It's horrible to think how animals suffer. Anyone who makes a joke of this should have the same thing done to them. I would personally watch. I feel much more for animal suffering than for human suffering. People generally suck!

I looked at the Human Society website for the video which proports to show raccoon dogs being skinned alive. I was wondering what reason would the Chinese have for doing such a thing? It looks like their skulls are dashed against the ground before the skinning takes place. Certainly not a pleasant thing. I think I would have to go with a ban on the importing of fur gained from raccoon dogs. They are cute animals and don't deserve to end up gracing the collar of some high end coat.

In China, the government is trying to kill all the dogs in several cities because one person died from rabies. I wonder what are they going to do with all the extra dog meat and dog fur?

I hope it is'nt wasted!

I see real potential here, we can start feeding the elderly, orphans, disabled veterans and low income inner city families this readily available and nutritious dog meat.

I agree yet I was flamed bad in the recent past by posting something similar when a story came out about a deer who had a plastic jack-o-lantern stuck over his head. LOL

If the furs are taken humanely from dead carcasses, who cares? There are so many unwanted animals in the shelters.

With global warming, who needs fur anyway?
