Members Of Congress Criticize Move As Insult To U.S. Soldiers And Taxpayers
- Congress should nationalize Halliburton and seize control of all their assets.
See how well Halliburton will do without the billions of dollars worth of equipment bought by US taxpayers.
It wouldn't actually be nationalization, it would be more comparable to repossession or reclaiming ownership of property that rightfully belongs to US taxpayers.
Nationalizing oil companies (ExxonMobil) doesn't sound like such a bad idea now that Halliburton is demonstrating how quickly a US based corporation will turn its back on the US.
What is the US going to do when ExxonMobil and the other major US oil companies decide to relocate to Dubai? - Reply to this comment
- I agree with you I8c6. Our nation is in serious trouble. May GOD help us.

- Multinational corporations continue to erode the United States government. Shrinking, limiting and eliminating our current system is their death wish for greater representation. They weaken the populace's ability to defend their country by dividing them over foolish rhetoric delivered by media prostitutes. Multinationals are interfering with the nations political system pimping politicians through the lobby system and effectively privatizing the government. The hubris of an entitled self-proclaimed righteous elite multinational crime ring will at some point in time take claim on the remaining share holders of what once was the modern western world. The neo-cons speak of a new world order but we have had the new world order. The world is regressing back to the old world order. Serfdom awaits.
It has been apparent to them the Bill of Rights and Constitution are a barrier to their ability to acheive the ruling wealth they've coveted that Sadam possessed. They've wanted these documents off their backs for some time. They don't agree with the forefathers that greater representation of the populace in government is the way it ought to be.
These traitors would readily consider a sheik an ally than a fellow american because it's about wealth and power. We will meet the same fate someday many poor villagers in latin america met at the hands of right wing fascism unless somehow we stop allowing those who live by this perverse ideology to divide us. - Reply to this comment

- Actually,Musty2U, if you would do a little research into the Bay of Pigs Invasion, you might be suprised to learn that it was anti-Castro Cubans trained by the CIA in Florida to overthrow Fidel Castro. The invasion force was getting its A S S kicked on the beach, and requested re-inforcements, which HAD to be authorized by President Kennedy. Kennedy had gotten wind of this surreptitious invasion just prior to it happenning, and was LIVID that it was going ahead, since he had been having private talks w/Cuba at that time. He commented that he would "scatter the CIA to the wind". It was for THIS reason he was ASSASSINATED on 11,november, 1963. Don't take MY word for it... Do your OWN research, as have I.
Bravo bro! If you have to play with a troll like this it's nice to see you do such a wonderful job of shooting him down! Bravo! - Reply to this comment
- Well, with approximately 72 million registered democrats, and 42 million registered as independents in this country, seems like it would be a simple task and a great accomplishment to march on D.C. and run Bush & Cheney out. Who's going to stop 112 million angry American citizens? Nobody. Nada. The sad reality is, nobody will do it. Everybody talks the talk, but nobody wants to walk the walk when the time comes. Petitions aren't going to work. Getting angry and venting on a blog won't accomplish jack. You want to take America back, then show your numbers and move. Other than that...shut-up...sit back...blog your b_itches & gripes, and continue to let companies like Halliburton and people like Bush & Cheney & Cheney will always tell you what to do. Know what? There's somebody waiting right behind them to do the same thing.

- This is an insult to the U.S. soldiers and taxpayers who paid the tab for their no-bid contracts and endured their overcharges for all these years,"
It is more than insulting--these crooks will ultimately escape to a foreign country so that they don't have to have any scruples at all--unless they are stopped cold by legislators with spines.
This vice president is involved in this--as is Bush.
