Maggie, please, please, please reconsider allowing George and Cindy Anthony to use your show to ask for "donations" for their "foundation". These people have not "worked" a job since their granddaughter went missing. They went to a bail hearing in July and said their mortgage was about to be foreclosed and they had lawsuits against them for nonpayment of debts and, yet, ten months later they're still clothed, have traveled the US and been on many TV shows, bought a $30,000 boat and STILL DON'T WORK. They have been living from people's generosity while vilifying everyone who has followed this case and prayed for Caylee's safe return - not knowing that she had been disposed of shortly after June 15th. Why would you give the Anthony's your blessing to solicit funds for their "foundation". THEY DIDN'T FIND THEIR GRANDDAUGHTER. They didn't even look for her. They dined at the Ritz the day their granddaughter's remains were identified. They aren't crying out to everyone to find the 'REAL KILLER" because they know she's already safely locked up. They are manipulating you and CBS just as they have manipulated everyone who has crossed their path since this terrible crime occurred. Have you seen their depositions in the civil case. Do you not see the different in their demeanor and composure. Why do you think they were raving maniacs at the depositions and they're the poster children for discretion on your show? You are being used by the Anthony's and you, a reporter with all the information available to you, don't see that? Are rating so important to CBS that they would sacrifice your reputation to enhance their ratings for two shows? I guess I would feel sorry for you if I didn't believe you are willingly being used. What a mess. Glad I won't be watching the lies and deceit tomorrow. Meg - owner (as in paid for) of three TV's - all of which will be silent tomorrow morning.

If this morning's appearance by the Anthony's is considered an interview Early Show standards, then there's little wonder why it is in third place. If a good journalist researches its subject. and seeks to find the truth, then Ms. Rodriguez is no journalist. Has she not seen videos of the recent depositions of George and Cindy Anthony (nearly everyone else has); has she not learned that Cindy Anthony had threatened to seek custody of little Caylee or that KC stole from various family members, or that KC was unemployed for over 2 years when she was leaving KC in the care of her grandparents and others?

Yet Ms. Rodriguez chose to sit like a lump on a log while the Anthony's claimed how wonderful a mother Casey was; while Cindy claimed Caylee merely lived with them she never interferred in her upbringing... That was neither journalism, an interview or truth seeking by any measure.

Based on today's appearance, one can only assume that tomorrow CBS will prostitute itself for ratings by shilling for donations to a foundation the Anthony's have begun. Good luck with that.... I'll no longer be watching. I'll be too busy writing boycott letters and emails to The Early Show's sponsors.

CBS you should be asking the right questions. For example: If Casey was such a good mother why is it that Cindy was contemplating taking custody. Why did Cindy tell her friends that Casey was a sociopath? If Casey was such a good person why was she stealing from them, her grandparents, Lee, Amy and from Caylee's piggy bank? If Casey was such a good mother why was she out there acting like a hoe? CBS you are not asking the hard questions, Shame on You!!

This was the straw that broke the camels back, for me. The decision to have the Anthonys on, was an extremely, poor one. To give them a platform, to expand the scope of their lies, is deplorable. So long CBS, Our 51 year relationship, has come to an end.

Scott Peterson's mother defended him and said he was a model son. The Craigslist killer's fiance said he "wouldn't hurt a fly". Sounds like Casey has her parents fooled too. They should try to see what is really going on with her....maybe they would see her the way the rest of the world does.

I was not surprised by the interview at all. I can see where Casey gets her "striaght forward, never blink" lies from. I try to think about what I would do in the same situations. I have a daughter Casey's age, a granddaughter Caylee's age, and I can tell you that I would do anything in this world for either of them. But to repeatedly get on national TV and lie, one lie after the other, I can't see it. How do you choose who gets justice, Casey or Caylee? That was an innocent, precious little girl. I totally agree that they should not wish for what they don't really want. The truth is gonna come out and justice in this case will be served. I just pray that this case is not being jeapordized by all the publicity. And as far as "these poor grandparents" they have put themselves out there to be questioned and badgered as some believe.Get all the interviews together and you can find a different answer for the same question over and over. And compare George and Cindy's answers and you have even more. I think they have taken the most heinous situation and ran with it. I would like to see them held in contempt. You don't have to tell the truth to CBS, but to the court of law, YOU DO! Sometimes I wish I could avoid this whole case, but my heart breaks that no one in that family cares for Caylee's Justice. I would sit in the court room for trial if I could. I would hope that someone would do that for my granddaughter if I was acting stupid.

I could not believe that CBS would actually interview these two people. I am surprised that they have not been arrested for obstruction. Shame on you!!

Well I have watched you for many, many years which will end today on the TODAY show!
I can't believe you have joined the likes of National Inquirer or the Globe to sensationalize the murder (yes murder of a little child) and have grandparents on who continuely appear to impede law enforcement by their deception. Shame on you for participating.

I did not watch and will not watch any anthony. cbs: if you want to increase viewers then do a documentary with facts.
THE ANTHONY'S NEED TO DO THE RIGHT THING. THEY HAVE LOWERED THEMSELVES TO THEIR DAUGHTERS LEVEL. THEY HAVE SACRIFICED ANY INTEGRITY THEY MAY HAVE ONCE HAD. THEY ARE ROBBING THE FLORIDA TAX PAYERS BY CONTRIBUTING TO COVER UPS AND OBSTRUCTION. I HOPE THEY ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR PART IN ALL OF THIS. THAT WILL BE WORTH WATCHING.
